how can I turn on NO ""talkies"" in the middle of a game? somone is being a pest... an if I give him a blast he will wonder what the hell has hit him...I think he is only about 15 or 16 years old judging by the way he is talking.
Aganju: I cannot see any of my games on the main page. I have logged out a few times and still no games. If I click on the number of games in brackets by Main page I can play a game. But I still cannot see my games.
Algis9: first, the total of all opponents points that were beat is added up, and the higher number wins (the concept is that you won against the stronger opponents). If this is not an option, or is equal too, the player with the lower rating wins (for him it is considered a greater achievement to hold a draw). It doesn't matter who offered the draw. As ratings are internally floating numbers, there are basically never equal.
Hello! Who can explain order when there is a draw? Which player enters next stage? but when there is a tie, only one goes to the next round. So which one? Is it the one who plays white or the one who offers a draw?
Bernice: Because you have a higher membership level at the moment, you are still a brain knight until 15th July, after that the brain bishop should kick in.
Smiler.: I know what I paid for and it was a braib bishop but it hasnt been updated on my membership.//The reason I only paid for one month is times are getting tougher and it can only afford one month at a time
What do the red and green dots beside the times in the "Time Left" column mean? They don't match up with the ones indicating the player is online, but I haven't been able to figure it out or find an explanation anywhere.
Aganju: Yes, I totally agree. I think it's the same for all the countries, time is necessary to discover everything. Myself, I don't know all the beautiful places in France. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip here.
Mélusine: I agree. Paris is great, and one of the best experiences in the world - but it doesn’t represent the French countryside very well. That is a very different - and also great - experience. You cannot see ‘France’ in one visit, there are too many distinct parts with their own highlights. I have been traveling to France for over forty years, over and over to different places, and there is still so much I haven’t seen. (You probably can guess I’m a big fan of France, but really, I’m not overselling it)
Bernice: French isn’t an easy language. There are many tourists in Paris. This city is interesting for monuments, museums, and art in general. And also if you want to go to Disneyland near Paris. If you go there, taste the « baguette », a typical french bread. Otherwise, in my opinion, we eat better in the regions of France where the culinary traditions stay.
Mélusine: Really? I know a lot of people that have been to Paris, but it was on their way to somewhere else. and they loved it except they didnt speak French and couldnt make themselves understood LOL
Bernice: Depending on the region, food and drink is different. For example, I don't like food from the east of France, because they cook with a lot of cheese. In the southwest where I live, it's more about seafood because we're close to the ocean. Depending on what you like, you have to choose where to go. Very few Australians visit France.
