i second that , i just tried for two days in jan , looks ok ,untill you look again and its not saved ..possibly a bug .

Steve...yes. I just tried it again and it looks like I have set them, saved them, then when I go back to the calendar they are not there.

Radiant...I can't set my vacation days for January either. It appears you can but when you go back and check it will never save them. I just set automatic vacation and I figure that will cover it.

Hey, you're right. I have 18 days left for this year, but when I switched the calendar to Jan '05, it said I have 30 days! I love little features of BrainKing like that!! I don't know what Radiant's problem was. Hope I didn't steer anyone in the wrong direction.

I've used up all my days for this year but it still says I have 5 days left when I switch it to January... and I can only assume it would say 30 if I was a rook ;)

It looks like you can set days in January now if you change the calendar to January 2005.

Because he has used his for this year. He wants to use the new ones he will get Jan 1. They are not available yet, but will be when the new year starts. He will not be here though to set them up and wants to do that now. probably best to send a message to Fencer and tell him of your dilema.

Radiant: Last 2 times I checked (1 month and just 10 sec ago) I could specify my vacation days for next year... Just select the month you want in the combo box and click the checkboxes...

Why do you say you can't set the vacations for January?

A damned thing. Actually you don't have to care about the vacation :-) [or about the timeout of your games :-( ] as long as you have some spare vacation days. Rooks have 30 days per year. -- Look in your settings.

In settings there is a check box. If you check it you will be automatically given a vacation day, if you have any left, when you are about to time out on a game.

that's what i thought too, but on one game it says 20 some days left, but it's supposed to be a 1 day to move game. that's when it lost me.
