well.....so far so good for me. one question though(for fear of being called lazy cause I dont read the blahblogs) ...is there a setting for the number of your turn games? seems I have to scroll through pages now,and it also affects my go to drop box.
Gabriel Almeida: "However, BK stays much poorer without Pedro Martinez." I agree, and feel sorry for those who have purchased lifetime memberships. it has to be discouraging,to say the least, to find out the sites owner could care less if cheating goes on,or if long time members leave because of the lack of interest provided by the owner. when the KM members were finally exposed for being cheaters and thieves...it took a lot to get any action from the owner, and they are right back in our midst. IF...and I say IF...bk3 ever evolves, its my understanding there will be no more fellowships. well..imo...if theres no fellowships, and cheating is allowed...why pay to play?
Vikings: "I'm just stating what Fencers stand has been" and that, unfortunately, is nothing. too busy spending eternity with this supposed bk3, and trolling for black rook money, imo. it seems highly unlikely that these 2(?) players can be 1 apart for so many turns. whats to stop the multi-nic abusers from over running us with boosting and cheating in prize tournies and other games if this stuff is just continually over looked?
Pedro Martínez: well..thats not right, and I agree that something should be done. same thing happened on the texas hold'em tables...but nothing happened on top managements part. they over look this little thing...then the next..it just snowballs. frustrating when your trying hard to win fairly.
Fencer:hows BK3 coming along? last report it was 60% complete......when was that? lol think we'll see it this year? I look forward to seeing improvements in the Texas hold-em set-up.
Pedro Martínez: fencer does not always take an interest in things HE doesnt feel is important. as this board is deemed for "BrainKing itself, its structure, features and future."...and the occasional brown-nosing, it seems very appropriate that the matter be discussed here imo.
rabbitoid: that may be...I finally figured out this is a fisher clock game...I never play them and didnt read the ten mile long header for the tourny. I like loop...so if I lose, no big deal...I just dont like to time out.
36 new members so far today....over half havent logged in,most will never play a game, some go straight to the poker tables. watch the player list just a couple times a week. theres no doubt in my mind that the majority of these new members are add ons to existing accts. since pawns are only allowed 20 games...I can see this as a way to give someone more games,but......theres always those that create these add on accts for ulterior motives, that many of us that have been here awhile know. then you have these globs that dont care or even read the stuff they're prompted into moderating,to compound issues. just my 2 cents.
MadMonkey: The actual site is being re-written at the moment so no changes will be made to this version ,..... right...and maybe we'll hear another update on the new 3.0 version by the next membership drive~!! lol
rod03801: impression? all I read is the drawbacks of fellowships, hence giving the impression they are soon to be gone...where did it say fellowships would be enhanced or dropped?
AbigailII: paypal does the same thing! alertpay is slow...but does work. I hope it catches on, since the only place I've seen it is here, and its not likely I will be using it at this site ever again.
Artful Dodger: I read that...its just not very clear...kinda like yesterdays blog...about ALL the people taking advantage of the xmas special....kinda confusing when you only see 1???http://brainking.com/en/PaidMembership
Bernice: I called them...but the rep (1st one) said to mail everything in.....2 weeks later...they had no record of me sending anything....3 weeks later...rep 3 said still nothing, and I cant revert back to a personal acct.
Fencer: same thing happened to me when I tried to upgrade my paypal from personal to a business acct. since I cannot seem to upload a clear enough image of the required documentation, faxing is not their option, mailings never are recieved, my account is now in limbo....they will accept money on my behalf....but I cant get any out! so I am at least relieved its not just me.
Artful Dodger: I can see how this situation would keep a potential member from joining the ranks of paid members....with only a specific number of games and tourny's available to pawns....being trapped by people like this who find pleasure in ruining the overall moral fabric of Brainking, these folks may decide to join another gamesite that doesnt put money ahead of common sense.
