Why was I booted out of this tournament once a 4th player signed up?

It is one game per 2 players, with 4 players total, and I have 4 slots available to play.

Maybe the tournament owner booted you? But the text would clearly say that.
How many games did you sign up for? Only that one (Triple Dice Poker 6D)? Or multiples?

Maybe the routine is not calculating correctly, and thought that you would get too many games with the tournament; but that would be wrong.

What happens if you try to get into it again? What message do you get?

Aganju: I only signed up for the Triple Dice Poker ^D tournament.

I just signed up again as you suggested. So far I am signed up, but it hasn't started and I haven't been booted out of the tournament.

When it kicked me out last time I got a message that said, "You have been removed from the tournament because you didn't have enough empty slots for new tournament games.".

This is something I can't understand....

It's been a long time since this question was brought up, but I think I remember the answer.

For a single game tournament, the system just checks if you have 5 free game slots (no matter if only 4 games are started - or 6 games are started... if you have 5 free slots, it lets you in.)

For 2 game tournaments, I believe the system just checks for 10 free game slots (again - no matter if 8 are started.. or 12 are started.)

.... or something like that. (Again, it's been awhile since I've had to answer that question.)

coan.net: I think you got it. I had 4 slots available the last time I tried entering the tournament.

I just now got a 5th available slot, so I tried entering again, and it worked! Thank you for your help, and also thank you to Aganju also for his efforts to help me.
