What a terrible day for football! I told you I spoke too soon about Preston's great run! lol! Plus Liverpool lost and they were rubbish again! Oh but the Man Utd defeat has helped me overcome it! lmao!! :)

lol yeh MM..I dont like to gloat! BUT, yeh what a great result for PNE!! I was worried coz at 0-2 we had chances to finish it off, we never took them & Reading scored to set up a tense finish! I know what you mean..though Houllier is technically very good & is passonate about Liverpool fc, I would like to see a new manger from the famous 'boot room' at Anfield....like maybe Sammy Lee! I mean Sammy does everything at Liverpool like coaching, training etc...also he coaches our National team! he has also been there & done it in football for Liverpool & England! so why doesnt he have a go managing Liverpool! Also Ive heard rumours about Kevin Keegan managing Liverpool! That would be scary! lol

Yeh Milan Baros is rated very highly here & at the sart of the season he was playing regular from the start of the match, but he unfortunately broke his leg...we have really missed him & Im sure when he returns soon Houllier will start him again & give him his chance! But Houllier might not be here for long annyway!

lol! yeh Swansea for the FA cup! Thats the beauty of football, you never know what can happen! I love it when small teams make the later rounds, thats why the FA cup is so special!

Anyway I hope this big Liverppol win last night will give us the major kick start we need...well Owen should be back for the Aston Villa game on Saturday but if we dont beat Villa then that would be very dissapointing! I think we will, 3-1! :)

Phil 'The Power' Taylor won again for the eleventh time! he's amazing! However, Kevin Painter was the better player, even Phil admitted this..its just that Phil pulled the shots off that were most important...Success is all about doing it at the right moment..thats what Phil has done for the past 13 years!

Yes Henry should be No 1 next year if he continues the way he's doing, but the scary thing is that Zidane hasnt been playing at his best but still wins it!

Yes Pavel Nedvid is a great player and is playing very well for Juve..BUT this european award he has won has been voted by journalists...I say no more! ;)

Henry, Zidane, and Ronaldo are still the best players for me & also for all the top football coaches who voted them last week!

I think Im watching him right now on tv...it has to be Zidane! he's a magician and always has an end product to his skills, which is very rare.

Close to Zidane I would go for Thiery Henry..he is awesome..he destroys teams single handed & he is possibly gonna be the world player of the year tomorrow night!

My all time best player is Maradona...he won the world cup single handedly in more ways than one! he was a different class for over a decade!

I know Pele is the best to some, but I havnt seen enough of him to say...but people round here in my home city of Preston will say that Tom Finney was the greatest player in the world..He is a Preston lad too and he lives near me!! Good old Tom!

Yeh Arsenal looked dead and burried but what a come back, played great stuff too...they look good to progress further than they have done previously, though Celta will be a tough game I expect Arsenal to do it.

Im soooooo depressed about the champions league because we, Liverpool, did not even qualify...its a tradgedy, we are just not good enough! Well we have a wonderful UEFA cup draw to look forward to! :( Bring on Barca!! :D

Apart from Arsenal & Chelski I think there are some very boring teams left in the cup...they will probably be nil-all matches! Would like to see West Brom do it as they are the only 1st Div team left, and they are flying too!
