Was wandering if anybody knows what to do with sunflowers after summer,do they grow again next year? I have a couple 14 footers in the front yard to deal with Ty for any help.
It's supposedly spring time here but we're getting snow, it's unheard of this late in the year. Had 1 meter dumped on the road between Taupo & Napier. Temperature today was 8 derees C. Going to get down to 3 to-night
Well summer hasn't even started and already we are experiencing excessive heat. Expected today 36degC = approx 100degF. Looks as tho we are in for a bad one :(
12-14 months ago I planted in my garden 3-4 pineapple tops....Lo and behold I have a pineapple growing...it is about the size of my thumb nail at the moment but what a find. That can go with the passionfruit, pawpaws, bananas, grapes etc....My own homegrown fruit salad LOL
Foxy Lady: I have taken one pic and put it up in my photo album on here....I will date each pic so you can see the growth. we are nearly getting 40's as well C's that is....actually about 34degC and we had no winter at all....
Bernice: I just checked.. they are still around. And they are free. I used them a long time ago. Pretty much the same as geocities, as i recall. They have templates you can use, so you don't even need to be an HTML expert.
I have just noticed that GEOCITIES is closing down this coming October 26th...does anybody know of any other FREE web hosting sites?....so I can post the pics as promised LOL
Foxy Lady: Hope they bear a lot for you. I was visiting a niece the other day and had some fresh sliced tomato....that made the trip even more worthwhile.
Bernice: As far as I know, Hosta is the name of a plant, also known as plantain lily. So a Hosta garden would be a garden comprising or including plants of this kind.
