If I were to upgrade to rook membership, what happens to my existing knight membership ? would it just revert to my time left as knight when rook expired ??
As I have knight until next May, how does this work please ?
actually 2 are for me,and 3 are for the new BrainKing Store models, being sponsered by the Ironhorse Saloon Fellowship.Stop by for details on how to win one of those shirts!
or Stop by the BrainKing Store, and order a couple for yourself ;)
Fencer or whoever knows for sure: Do you lose the same amount of points if you resign rather than play the game out? Or do you lose less when you resign over playing it out? There is no way to check as once one of them is choosen, cannot take it back and try the other way.
I see :-)
Btw, bwildman didn't probably mention it but he had ordered 5 (in words, FIVE) BrainKing T-shirts at once. That's what I call THE SUPPORT! :-)
Does an unrated game still count in your win/loss even though it doesn't count for BKR?
A certain Canadian family started 2 tournaments recently and a lot of people may not be aware that they are both UNRATED
yes, thank you, i do know that, but as a paying member we have a great feature, it's a drop down box, and it lets us choose lots of different options, it's so easy not having to keep going to the main page, but for the very 1st. time one of the options is not working, i'm sure fencer will have it fixed real soon.
ty, ellie
ellieoop I don't know if this will help but on finishing a move I go back to main page. This then shows games possibly going to time out also who is on line, then with the online opponents selection you can see who is active or just browsing main page
i wish the dots were on players names on the drop down list like the tourn symbol is, i just hope that fencer gets it back to the way it wa. i wonder if it's a bug?
yes but we also had far fewer options.
eg I am playing a crap load of 1 dayers at the moment and after a days work and not online, I need to know all the ones that will time out first in order to not time out.
If I didnt have this option, there would be times where I would be in serious danger of timing out.
It would be better if we had both options.
Earlier today though to counteract this same game thing, I intentionally defaulted to "next game with this person" and also only chose people offline so that I could get my game count right down. That is easy now that we have the green dots and worked a treat this morning
I think the reason that cannot be done now is that Fencer doesnt have a column dedictated to "time of last move" If he did, we could sort by that field too and it would be easy to do.
is there a bug in the moves? no matter how i do it, whether i go to next game, or to the name that's next in the drop down box, the players that are here and keep playing, are the games that keep coming back, i want to play all my games as it used to be, with the games beng replayed going to the bottom of the list, and then when i'm done i play the players that are here. the only way i can do it now, is to keep dropping the box and hope i'm picking the games that i haven't played. if someone has tried all ways and knows how to get it to work the way it used to, then please tell me. i have also changed the way the games are lined up, that doesn't help.
thx.
lets think of a plan to lure the Arsenal team members to join BK
That could be a bonus. We may however have to discuss the Arsenal team in depth though to understand and perfect the recruitment drive
I just checked how many moves Kevin made yesterday for the 24 period.
I assumed it would at least be a few considering he is on for a couple of hours minimum.
I saw him again earlier today, diligently replying to posts etc while his active games sat something like 120 his turn, 8 opponents turn. I had to chuckle at that.
