What we need is a new feature: CTRL, ALT, Zap! Then we can send a slight shock to the slower players and help them along! j/k ! I don't like playing slow players either. When I had lots of games it didn't matter but now it shows. However, I do recognize that I have choices and I shouldn't impose my play preferences on others. So my attitude has changed. I can choose to play in faster tourneys only. Guess what? It works! ;) Even an old fart like me can learn something new!
MadMonkey: Youtube has changed its codes again. Some embedded codes still work (the older ones) and if you go to that video and copy the new code system it's missing the http plus other changes. I laid the working old code side by side to the current code (for the same video) and there are some minor changes. Apparently those changes don't work. See this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXXZUQrN4fI
Pappy: hmmm, maybe you have to be a knight or a rook. Make me boss and I'll delete it for you. You might not be able to do that as a bishop. In that case, you'll need fencers help
crosseyed: lol yeah but peeps have complained about that sort of thing so I thought I'd cover it. But then, they'd have to read my boring profile to see it in the first place! I used to have an extension that I could do a ctrl * and I could post different prewritten messages with one click. But with the upgrades to Firefox that option didn't work any longer. Like I said, Im a bit lazy. ;)
crosseyed: I put on my profile "good Luck" and "good game" so my bases are covered. ;) I wish there was a button for each as I'm a bit lazy and if I type something, it slows down my rhythm. lol
Ok, that was 5 words but I threw in two as bonus words. ;)
I learned this the hard way and now limit myself to mostly 3 days per move tourneys. I'll go as much as 5 but that's it. If I sign up for a tourney that takes forever, it's on me. While I do find it annoying that some opponents take up all their allotted time, that's their right.
Ok, now I'm like way past the three words of advice.
crosseyed: I got out a couple of times but kept getting sent back in. I had 53 moves, 35 of which were passes. Only 3 times did I roll a 6. Each piece was knocked back in. I think it's likely rare as it's never happened to me before. But it would be interesting to calculate the odds!
Pedro Martínez: haha I checked my blog and it's worth 9 dollars. It's owned by blogspot. I do get about 50-100 page visits a day and am nearing the 200,000 page visits marks. As for the 9$ worth of my blog, that's twice as high as I'd rate it.
Iamon lyme: I think that's the ghost of Christmas past. Or my uncle Ben. Both are (were) sort of, well, challenged intellectually. But they did manage to stay in a Holiday Inn when they were alive (Ben still resides there in room 101 - IF ya know what I mean).
;) And now back to our regularly scheduled BK.com board stuff.
