BTW chatty, I weren't gonna cheat, it was all in the name of fun :o) But then you know I aint no nasty anyways LOL
A quick question on tournies.
When setting one up, does the BK site select randomly who will play in sections, or can the person setting it up, organise that fully too?
I use this opportunity to summon a strong *Hurray*
in praise of Erika and shaggath who made it as first
to win their 50th tournament at brainking ! good job, guys ~*~ :)
The strongest Gothic Chess tournament of all time is currently underway. All of the top 25 players on this site were invited, of which 16 accepted, and 1 was ineligible to play as a BrainPawn without enough vacancies.
Previously there were posts in this section from a certain player who indicated his own superior play as the reason for being barred from another event.
This player was given multiple invitations to the King of the Hill, none of which were accepted. The tournament is starting without him.

I'd like to point out that the Rest of the World section of 'Bumble's World Tour' - backgammon, is for players not included in the other categories (UK, Europe and USA).
Players from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South America etc etc are especially welcome to join the fun in the Rest of the World section.
I have finished my tourniments and tried to join another one.. It tells me I can't because there are some that aren't finished. So is there anyway that I can join another one?
NO GIRLLLLIES ALLOWED !!!!
We are having a boys Tournament to coincide with Cariads GIRLY one LOL. Then there will be a playoff between the Tournaments. This will be decided on a basis of how many players enter and therefore how many section winners etc.. there are & will be by Private invite.
So, if a pawn does not have enough room to start the 6 games for example, will the system start the games it can for the pawn? For example will it start 4 games and wait until he can play the other two?
It is less work to screen coming in but thanks for the tip. There is also the issue of one of our ladies who is trying to avoid someone so we don't want his name to appear on our tournament list even for the short time it takes me to get there. I will change my post to read "almost" all are invited so everyone can have a comfort zone. Thanks for your interest and help.
► ALL games for dummies (under 1500 & unrated) #2◄
Tournament will start in just a few days. For players rated BELOW 1500. Unrated players are also allowed as long as they are not "too" good.
Games need at least 4 players to start, and there are a few that still only have 2-3 players. So if you are looking for more games & you don't like to play against the "expert" players - here is the tournament for you!
I should have said "almost everyone" is welcome because we still have a stalker that enters tournaments and either just sits there to drag it out, makes inflammatory remarks with his games, or uses multiple nics to fill up all the slots. We had one experience with him and that is enough. So if your are not him you are welcome.
It is up and running! You should see your games on your Main Page. Good luck everyone!!! 57 entered so this is a biggie. Looking forward to the outcome. :o)
