baddessi: Thanks! I wasnt actually sure how it worked, since most of the time if you want to ban someone in your fellowship, you simply remove them all together!
Is there a way for a big boss to hide a members posts or to ban them from posting? I know I can use the hide button beside their name, but as big boss, does that hide their posts from just me or everyone else in the fellowship?
Skittles: Thanks, so you first need to have a team for that game, then show that team for the tournament you want to make then there is a link! Got it now!
have invited people then got the message that they are already invited.... I just noticed my list with 99 invites on it!
So does this mean that these are people that I already invited and they discarded the invite before accepting it or rejecting it? If so, can I now remove the invite and invite them again?
rod03801: When I look at the team roster on the main fellowship page there is a drop down box link that says to remove a team member, I havent tried it, but I think it is for removing team members, and not from the fellowship?
I have a fellowship, Ponds Plus, where you will find valuable pond information that cant be found anywhere else! Not even on the ponds discussion board itself. My fellowship is more open and more free from tiresome moderation, therefore there is more constructive dialog about strategies and people who colude in games, or people who are likely to bid a 1 in the next round, things like that. Please come ask for an invite.
bumble: hat is advise to delet a whole fellowship, not just the baord! LOL, but that is one way to get rid of the board, I guess, to just delet the whole fellowship!
I dont think there is a way to remove a fellowship board. I created one just testing it out once and now that I created it, there is no way to remove it now :(
I fsomeone has many fellowships (more than the two currently allowed) and they become a pawn, shopuld they be allowed to continue with as BB of more than two fellowships if/when they become a paying member again?
baddessi: I think you have it all wrong... it is not allowed to discuss, on a public board, something from another public board. That is my interpretation....
rod03801: I dont know.... it is a board for the game "run around the pond", very specific, not pond games in general or any multi player games, I dont see anything in the description that states thsa it is a board for any of the pond games ;)~
... and since pawns are not allowed to play multi player games anyway, a fellowship devoted to those games specifically will not exclude anybody who is involved. But the real bonus to joining the Ponds Plus Fellowship, and discussing all of the Brainking multi player games, is that it is free from inconsitant and tiresome moderation!
I have the only place on all of Brainking devoted exclusively to all of the multi player games on this site, including the newest, Run in the Dark! here is no place else on Brainking where you can discuss this newest addition to Brainking without being off topic ;)
I have a new fellowship for anyone interested in multiple player games on Brainking. Right now there is only one, Run Around the Pond. But more are planned in the future, I believe. Since these games do not include pawns, there is no need really to discuss them in a "public" forum where the rules of moderation are more restrictive, and inhibitive to constructive and productive dialogue.
This fellowship will promote dialogue about Pond games and eventually any other multi player games featured here at Brainking.
If anyone would be so kind as to post a link to this fellowship for me? Thanks!
Stevie: Thanks. I knew that part. But if they just left for the second time, and I dont want them back in, and they try to come back 6 months from now, but I dont remember by then that they have already been in and out twice.... (kinda confusing, i know)
I guess there is no waty to just go to their profile or whatever to ban them, just have to wait until they ask back in, and hope I remember then to ban them?
Is there a way to block someone from getting into your fellowship before they make an invite?
There are some people who have come and left and come and left again, and I just want to block them from asking back in. I KNow I can do this after they have made the request, but I dont know if I will remember who I want to block, lets say they ask to get back in several months down the road. Thanx!
I was probably the only one interested in the NFL anyway :) (and esperanza would join in some too) But it is really no big deal, I was only kidding anyway.
