Harley, thanks for that...and myself also know for know of abuse ... My husband and I raised 5 children of our own children but raised foster children also....and become very attached and felt so much pain for each child....and raised them the best we could like our own...as you see touches something in me also....words ahhhhh I see so much .... heartknows some of this....

Rivers!

As I am remembering days of the past.
I thank goodness for being this lass!
She ran to the place where the river crest,
over the waterfall she did gasp!
She was in awe of what she saw
a rush a mighty power out of the wall.
Now as she thinks of the fall
she remembers the last fall...She
then remembers to run run and
leap from the rope that came from the
bluff....
As we felt the breeze upon our face,
we felt the water take our breath.
Then the pumping of the waters deep
felt so exciting to our unbelief. In this
wall of magnificent beauty was the
time of great memory!
Now as we play to hearts content
remembering the days of wading and
floating..

This is precious our River
Current.....Current as it flows
never-ending with its GREAT BEAUTY!

I know....I cant wait now to reminense in person :) what a delight....to have come to this place....awesome and wonderful it is....now we share not only about our family and friends...but hey, look here,,,, we have many new friends and making new memories to tell others how rare of a gift (smile)thanks again, and its ok to have teary eyes.....even when we are sad, happy, remembering.......it more valuable than words can say that we can share and make our life brighter here you see....

I like your inputs and I would be pleased but humbled to be on panel if that is what is decided..I have lots to learn, and I have lots yet to share, but we all have different walks of lives we have, an would be so interesting in each others way of looking at the poems....or writings....what ever you decide I would be glad and happy to be apart of...and I feel also this will be a learning tool for me as well...as to how to do it better... and present it better :)

Poetry Challenge sounds wonderful.....and the judging who .... well the ones choosen should be ones that can and know about it....and also, like Bumble says.....know all the languages as possible... and I for one........if you pick one ...Bumble you know so many languages and lyrics, songs, words, tunes, notes, etiquette in many things, and you teach.....and I am sure there are others I do not know yet, that are qualified....but if I would enter one, sounds like those of you that are willing to do this...well, I would not mind to be judged by all of you....You all have to make the decisions..I just think it is a wonderful and exciting decisions .... like none of you have anything to do ...lolololololololol.........just tiny input from granny wombat in way back country:) For myself I say go for it....maybe someone would find their words from within strike volumes of feelings...and go far.... Go for it!!!!!!
