Ewe: Those guys put out a lot of energy. That's how they get the joint jumping. Nice combination of instruments - great sounds coming from them. Thanks for sharing!!!
Oh, and nostalgia is allowed here. Don't you see the rest of us going back to the 50s, 60s..., pulling out our faves?
题目: Re: He would have been Fifty - Three years old today.....
Jim Dandy: Hahaha! Now, why am I not surprised? I'm surprised you didn't go down there, and walk in and out the door. Hahahahaha! You could have feigned nausea, and asked to use the restroom.
I know he's an international treasure, but I get to claim him all I want. You can too, I'll share.
Ewe: It's still my work day, and I have a mile or two to go before I can decide what I am into for music this day. I was just jealous that you are done with your drudgery for the day. I just took a break to get my mind straight.
As a matter of fact, Dandy-pie, I have to run a couple errands, so I should take flight. I'll hope to see you later.
Ya'll put up lots of stuff to make me happy when I get back. k?
Jim Dandy: That's a sweet piece. You keep coming up with stuff I've never even seen. Time to get on it, and go back out to the listening clubs.. I DO love sAx.
Jim Dandy: Hahaha! That reminds me of a poem by Roy Blount, Jr. (I'm posting this here, because I want to - the poetry board would not appreciate it.) Here it goes:
All the stores in town are out of broccoli, loccoli.
Radiant2007 :-): We do not require you to be here. Go rest and take care of that headache. We only require that you be healthy, and stay with us for a long long time. I'll be dying in about 20 years, and I want you to be around when I go. You have to sing.
Jim Dandy: A vegetarian fight song? Is it for fighting non-vegetarians? Or is it about fighting veggies? In this corner, we have, at 1 pound 12 ounces in the bright green trunks, CELERY!!
And, in THIS corner, we have in the red trunks The Rotten TOMATO!!!
Before you watch this one, click on more and read what you're supposed to be doing while you're listening to it. You'll be surprised at who all is there. And, yes, I can see the rodeo grounds from my back window. The ESPN thower flashes in the night.
Dolittle: I love Doo Wop (not a play on your nickname, you know?) done in the traditional way, a Capella. I'm glad you liked it. I'm trying to get people pumped about doing a Doo Wop theme night.
题目: Re: filmed in the middle of our main intersection, that's me in the corner
Jim Dandy: You want me off your wavelength? You've been on mine for a while now. You can't fight with that duo. They've been doing all the right things for a couple - three decades now. *shakes head* astounding, huh?
Jim Dandy: Oh! Another Texan. About my age too. I thought you had me, then I saw the 13th Floor Elevators poster. Ahah! He's back on my radar!! I've often wondered about him, but just never dug him up. Thanks for reminding me, now I'll be cognizant.
Eriisa: I have never denied my memory is defective. But, some would say it's excellent, including the doctors at Southwest Medical School. It's just there is so much stuff piled in there, it's hard to find things. I specifically do NOT remember shooting any sheriffs. Snakes in the grass, maybe, but not sheriffs. (Refers her friend to The Motorcycle Song.)
