Tuesday: It will be someone whom the world would worship...lots of charisma...but I'd imagine him to be both convincing to some of his enemies...but of terrifying worldly power through those who follow him for his enemies
Tuesday: Indeed, indeed, you are so right! In my Bible I have alot of study material about this subject. I just wonder, if you want to hear all that? I can sent it to you in a PM (don't think this board is a place to discuss further on it though..)
Horseman: Yes, I remember Ezekiel writing about the wheel, with its eyes everywhere.. A student in my class made a painting of that, when I was teaching in the Art Ministry back in the US in 2004... I was very impressed with her Biblical knowledge, for a girl of 6 years old! :-)
Tuesday: Revelation 13 writes about the beast from the sea and the beast from the earth. And the explanations around it telling me, that its not someone very subtle and non-threatening.
666 refers to the beast of the Earth, which refered to as the False Prophet and that He serves as the Antichrist's mouthpiece.
In Rev. 13:16 we are advised, to not adopt the word's way of thinking or its standards of behaviour.
Radiant Aunt: chapter 13 is one of the most detailed versions of the beast rise to power and rule, don't forget however that a lot of symbolism in revelations also reflects eziekial...and jeremiah
Tuesday: why? what have you been up to that you think you should be punished?
SR: thank you :-)
Ok better go to bed for some beauty sleep...second last sleep before the big day....yay :-))
Tuesday: God willing, yes :-) and thank you for your kind words.
God obviously wanted me to play on this gamesite (if you know what I mean, destiny, that sort of thing) as this is where I met my future husband!
We ask that not one more generation will grow up knowing conflict and injustice, nor suffer from poverty or oppression, that not one more family will lose a loved one to war and bitterness, and that, together, Muslim, Jew and Christian, we can create a new future for the Holy Land: a future of peace.
Amen
The text of the prayer taken from a prayer by Jordan's King Adbullah.
Tuesday: Yes, the Bridal Chorus by Wagner and the Wedding March by Mendelssohn on the way out. There are trumpets that play in these versions of the songs, it's quite moving actually :-)
3) Jesus said: If those who lead you say to you: See, the kingdom is in heaven, then the birds of the heaven will go before you; if they say to you: It is in the sea, then the fish will go before you. But the kingdom is within you, and it is outside of you. When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will know that you are the sons of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty, and you are poverty.
Groucho: I remember you told me about Adam about 4 years ago, when I first got to know you at IYT. And I went to his website and read all about his extra ordinairy young life in where the Lord used him already. My thoughts go out to his parents and his wife and to you of course. Thank you for sharing. Yes, for the parents its the most diffecult.
Just a few weeks ago I happen to meet the parents of Kim Jones, a 23 year old seminary student who passionately loved God, and who was killed in a tragic shooting at Wedgwood Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Her parents travel the world to share about her zeal for the Lord and share the Gospel at the same time to people who need to hear about Gods Love for the World.
I will go to Adams site and encourage your family.
Proverbs 3:5&6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."
Just finalising the church booklet with my fiance' for our Nuptial Wedding on Sunday and was going through the various songs that we think we might play during the Mass. It was so hard trying to select from so many uplifting and beautiful songs that we have now finally completed the selection after countless hours of listening. After the day to day stresses of putting the final touches to our wedding it was nice to be able to relax to some peaceful music and at the same time praising the One above. :-)
baddessi: thanks. It's harder for my brother of course than it is on me. But it does make me appreciate my own kids all the more. Frankly I don't know how anyone in that situation can hold up. Prayer is probably the best help we can offer others in that situation
Today my nephew would be 32. He died in a plane crash in 1997. It's his birthday and I want to help remembering him. If you are willing, go to http://www.lnf.org/ and sign the guest book. My brother's name is Mark and his wife is Linda. Adam, my nephew, was a real neat young man. Just newly married when he died. You can read about him on the website and sign the guest book. Wishing him a happy birthday is appropriate as his birthdays are very happy these days, in the arms of Jesus. ;) Thanks
((((Nirvana)))) What an awful news! Just prayed for his family and for you. Keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I pray you feel the LORD's comfort and strenght around you these days, especcially when you yourself encourage his parents! Bless your heart!
he never really got over his Mother's death just before Christmas, and was on drugs for depression. He suffered a violent reaction to some prescribed pain tablets and he was asthmatic, the combination of which caused his death. Very sad.
Nirvana: what terrible, sad news. I didn't know him or his family, but my thoughts are with them and with you also. I lost my best friend when she was 31 to Hodgekin's Disease..I know how that feels. No one can take the place of someone like that. Take care Nirvana!
