i have a question about wireless connectivity. im using wired broadband now, but, am going on a small vacation where the hotel has wireless access. ive surfed options for USB devices and cards for my laptop. do i need something specific? will any generic brand work? do i need to know what type the hotel has?
could this be a browser issue? when i right click anywhere on this site (except in text boxes) i get a box with "interviews, vacations, logout. a line with dashes, and lastly change" as options.... ive never seen that before? and if i click, say vacation for instance, it brings me to the page where i can set my days..
BIG BAD WOLF: its really got some great features, i want to try to stick with this one for my email acct, i dont want to have that at a seperate spot since this is the browser i use most.
here's the download site, you'll like it, it has improved security features, tool bar options, and better tabbing. http://browser.netscape.com/ns8/download/default.jsp
i like the new netscape, but i cant find the email icon? did they delete that? or am i blind? i read the FAQ's, and went through the help .. still didnt see it.. is it there?
thanks Badinage, i dont know anything about RSS, maybe i need to investigate? so far in using Netscape, i havent come up with any blank pages, and it loads quicker than IE, i just want to set up my mail acct, ive always used netscape for that.
they come standard with computers now, the ethernet cards.. we just bought a couple computers in december and they are standard. so dont buy an additional one online Magic Dragon!
i just figured out the tabs and ive been using this netscape 7.1 a few months now... i wondered what it meant.. this is a nice feature.. is yours working again MM?
does anyone here use a wireless router in their home?
i have cable, but 4 teenagers, each have their own computer, but we are using a wired router for 4 connections.
when going to wireless, besides the wireless router, what do the desktops and laptops require to receive the wireless connection? will they each need a card inserted?
just got this email from my ISP--thought someone else might need it!!
