btw Sagan helped to prepare five NASA missions, one of the Mariners
and lately Galileo too ... his fiction is often solid science ... ;)
In Germany a series was broadcasted on TV 'Our Cosmos' (12 parts?) ... theme
was composed by Vangelis ... not available anymore unless on Cosmos-DVD ~*~

I think BK's 'Bookworm' population is a bit low, that's only a math problem.

I wonder if there'll happen by a lost soul who wanders in? -- A couple of tumble-weeds would add a lovely touch!

Crome Yellow -- Aldous Huxley

(You may recall Huxley from reading "Brave New World", one of his more renowned titles. "Crome Yellow" was his first novel -- A 'heavvy' story -- and in it, there's an excellent 'subtle hint' at the possible future of humanity's social patterns.)

Sailor Song -- Ken Kesey

Demon Box -- Ken Kesey

These are some authors I have been checking into lately -- Very profound, fun and enlightening stuff! ;·)

I didn't realise it was in the dictionary, but it's certainly a word I'm lucky enough to be able to say that I've used a lot to describe books that I've read.
It's quite a common 'word' - in the UK anyway.

Collins English Dictionary: 'unputdownable. adj. (of a book, esp. a novel) so gripping as to be read right through at one sitting.'

Oxford Concise Dictionary: 'unputdownable. a. (colloq.) (Of book) so engrossing that reader cannot put it down.'
