Chaos: Yes, I think the espionage achievements are good.
Notably the 'First Line Defence' and ' Rear of Secrets' are excellent, both encouraging a different line up and increased risk. Yes going for them, but won't tell you which games ;)
It will take time to get 100 mines, and like you, never target them (unless desperate ). Even now, I still have to get the 'Successful Sapper.'
Have a count of 7 out of 100 on capturing undetected pieces, so nearly a tenth of the way there!
eric_hanson: Hello Eric, hope you had a good sabbatical and welcome back. The SL'ers are slowing appearing at the top of the BKR ratings for the espionage games. Expect to see you there very soon too!
Thad: If you use time per move, does the option 'No days off'' not prevent vacation days from being used?
If using Fischer (time per game), then a 5 day move limit without vacation can still be set up, as the bonus and limit options can also be set to 5 days!
Pond: Thanks for explanation of pond. Didn't realise it was a game in its own right, rather a style of tournament (sounded good, that if you beat them, they fell into the pond!!!)
Fellowship: Nothingness, thanks for invite to the espionage freaks fellowship.
So we could create an SL fellowship, run tournaments, team tournaments, and have a dedicated discussion board?
Have been playing here a short while, creating games in the waiting room, and challenging those who have created games. Have played enough games to see myself in the espionage BKR list (like a ladder?)
But still can't fathom out much of the stuff here. In honesty, haven't had the time to read up on it all....
So what is a Pond?
Have decided not to renew my IYT membership, instead spent my hard earned money on a membership here!
