if you experiment with the fractals with an awareness of the algorithms..you develop an idea of what an algorithm will produce.you develop a better sense of how to alter your algorithms to active some really cool affects.
LuckyCat9: honestly, are they your, originally done by you?what program do you use?
I experiment with a lot of fractal algorithms, but never published any of mine.
hey,I was talking to several people on another board here re natural symmetry & fractals.
if you want to see some cool & interesting stuff about math /art,natural symmetry & fractals.
then go to this link.there are many related subjects mentioned on this webpage:
the create an object commands DO work, but you cant see the created objects unless use the reverse direction move command.
try moving backwards while creating objects.

Subjekt: Re: The Suppression of Uncomfortable Ideas Is a Dangerous Thing Indeed
Anna LyzeThis: in this current world the media throws so much at us & at kids.
shielding them from it all is impossible, its unrealistic to think we can.
I think it is better to see things with you kids talk about it.
it prepares them better to deal with this world.
Subjekt: Re: The Suppression of Uncomfortable Ideas Is a Dangerous Thing Indeed

hey,hi people, this is photography again, but this is truly really cool:
This photo has 2,487,227,305 pixels in it,and the producers call it "the largest digital panoramic photo in the world.
If this photo were printed, it would measure 6.67 m by 2.67 m (300 dpi). The photograph shows Delft and its surroundings in the autumn of 2004. It was taken from the top of the Electrical Engineering faculty of Delft University, at a height of about 100 m, by TNO
I have decided that yes,if I am ever going to sign up for a site,I will think carefully & pick one.
I review many many things in many catagories

no intrusive popups.
good games, that are ever growing & fresh
good customer & community service
good community atmosphere

ScarletRose,I was going to post a cool photo here ..I think of photography as an art form..but it is so diverse,it could be a discussion board in its own right...hey fencer,if you see this, what do you think?

The massive star Eta Carinae. This star went through a giant explosive outburst about 150 years ago, suddenly making it one of the brightest stars in the southern sky
LuckyCat9:
re : Getting to know your artist
++
so true, there are many artists who are interesting to learn how they lived, what they did, what was happening culturally, policitally, socially, philisophically in their time.
also there are many works of art that are interesting to find out why it was painted, what the artist was trying to say.
Subjekt: Re: wow I see fencer created a board for art..
ArtfulDodger: re:
buy her real paints.
I'm sure I dont have to remind anyone to make sure they are safe non toxic paints.
I just saw a show all about the history of the chemistry involved in art.it was really interesting.
today we have many modern safe colours.but many of the old masters used compounds based on arsenic,cadmium,lead,antimony,etc.. many had to be used with care.
even today,in ceramics, many of the glazes are toxic.
