From the rules at bkgm.com: "You are not allowed to block all six points in your starting table."
Does this apply in the middle of a move? If I for instance occupy all the points in the starting quadrant except the 19-point and have a bunch of extra checkers on the 24 point, then roll 55. Am I allowed to move 24-14, 24-14, even though the moved checkers will temporarily complete the prime on their way?
You can see examples on dailygammon. What I'm wondering is if someone has a script (I know there's some scripters among us), or another easy method of fixing it.
Fencer, when you make the new images needed for cloning backgammon (there can be more than 20 checkers on one point) could you put the number of checkers in the image as well? Something like this.

I have played this offline, and it's lots of fun.
Setup and moves as in standard backgammon. Opening roll as in standard backgammon, the one who wins the opening roll moves the given dice.
On every roll after the opening roll: When the dice are rolled, only the player on roll (from now on I'll call him "Player A") gets to see what he rolled. Before Player A makes his move he must tell his opponent ("Player B") what he rolled, or he can bluff and say he rolled something else. Now Player B can either accept or reject Player A's claim.
-If Player B accepts, Player A makes his move using the dice he claimed to have rolled. Player B will never know if it was a bluff or not.
-If Player B rejects, and Player A was bluffing, Player B gets to choose what dice Player A should use.
-If Player B rejects, but Player A was not bluffing, Player A can choose what dice to use.
This is the only difference from standard backgammon, so it might be easy to implement. It also works well in cube matches.
jodie_7_4: It might be a good idea to play a few quick games against the computer, so you get to complete the games without waiting hours or days between your moves. You can play in your browser, or download a program. The first one is good to just play a few games right away, and the second is good to have if you want more.
My suggestion would be to have auto pass when cubing is not an option. This includes single games, rolls when your opponent owns the cube, rolls when the cube is dead, the crawford round, etc.
But options like "Auto roll until my opponent leaves a shot", "Auto roll until my opponent opens a home board point", etc. sounds like a cool addition.
WatfordFC: Looks like your tournament games against this players is one round-tournaments, so what's the rush? His losses will hit him hard in the end. And since you are a rook you don't have to worry about your number of games/tournaments.
