Fencer: I think you have mistaken what I am asking for. I am not asking for something to show everyones real names. I am sugesting the ability for the user if they know someones real name(I.E. my friends) they can type it in and it will show up instead of there silly nick name or beter yet have both show suck as "Mark D(sdgjksdgetj)" so you still know what to call them in public forems. Everyone else would see them as sdgjksdgetj. You may see him as "Big Guy(sdgjksdgetj) and someone else may see him as "cool man(sdgjksdgetj)". Each user would by default see him as sdgjksdgetj but people could if they wanted rename him to a name that only shows up for them.
Fencer: Well then just limit it to 15 letters for this also. If I could see "Mark D" instead of sdgjksdgetj(not actual user name) it would be a lot easier. I don't need to see his whole name. Just something a little easier for me to recognice then the silly name he put in.
It would be cool if there was a link on each stair you are in, showing you all games (and who they were against), you have played in that specific Stairs.
mctrivia: Have a look a the top of your friends list, you'll see a drop down box with all your friends listed, and 'change description' next to it. You can add notes about them there which then appears on the list, so you could put their real name, and if they ever change their username you'll still know who they are!

How about allowing people to put a persons real name with there friends nick names. For example if I have Fencer in my friends list I could set his real name as "Filip Rachunek" and any time I read a post writen by Fencer or see a game created by him it would show up as Filip Rachunek(Fencer).

Eriisa: I have amended my confusing English! Actually I am never offended if an opponent does not wish me good luck, because in most cases they would prefer all the good luck for themselves! Maybe something like "Have fun" or "Enjoy the match" would be less hypocrital
Pedro Martínez: ya I see that now. 4000 games that is rediculus. To make 1 move per day in each you could only take 21 secounds per move. And that doesn't consider sleep. 100 sec a move if you want 1 move a week and 8 hours sleep a day.

Pedro Martínez: If she is indeed talking about currenly avtive games, then about the only use I can see for this suggestion is that it would create a watch-list of potential players to add to one'e enemies list, thus avoiding the frustration of playing games against opponents who don't actually know who they are playing against!
(I also get irritated playing against people who mindlessly wish "GL" every time a new games starts in a multi-game match, mostly completely unaware that the new game is actually an extension of the existing match, so all the niceties have already been exchanged, and I suspect that in most cases they are a part of this group.)
After looking at a profile where the player had around 4000 games it sparked my curiosity as to whether there was a page which showed a list of players who had the most active games?? Maybe like the top 100..
I find having even 500 to be the extreme but 4000 whoa.. too much!

Fencer: Although I personally don't like checker-games so much, it does seem like a nice game. It reminds me a bit of 'Frisian draughts'.
I have to look at it some more, play it with friends etc. It's amazing how many good games Christian Freeling has invented! I'm impressed.

Here is a good connection game, from the inventor of Grand Chess:
Havannah It has very simple rules (so even backgammonplayers could play it ) and great depth. It feels a bit like 'GO' but with the advantage it has fewer moves, simpler rules and no 'counting dead groups'-problem.
If there is going to be a connection game, I think this one would be a very good choice.
You can try the game yourself by copying the board and 'floodfill' with black and white in your paint program (that's how I play the game with Mirjam).
On the side bar it shows the number of new messages. This is great but if you join a Fellowship were you don't speek the main language and there is a discosion board in your language that one should show up if there is any new messages or atleast have the option to select which one or ones show up.
In games with screen editors it alwsays says editing his or her board. Most of the time the gender is known I would like to see it put the correct one in. I know it is small and unimportant but would be nice.
Princess Alison: you can download a smilie(.gif)and embed it in an email or a word or html file.
I often do with templates for email, word.
can do the same with other files: .jpg .snd .wav .png
I think you can,but have never done with these files: .mpg .ram .tar .zip .ppt .wab
