Czuch Chuckers: Eager for some pawns to time out on games with you? :) It's the longer vacations that paying members get that can really slow things down.
Jason: He is simply asking for a new feature.... as this is feature request board.
You can do it your way now, but he is just asking for a different way (and easier for him) way to do it.
when setting up a new game for the waiting area we can pick the bkr range but only in full 100 divisions would this be possible to include 50's inbetween too , sometimes 100 ponts is alot to try and jump
Badinage: that's not a bad idea. My default setting is "go to main page" but for dark battleboats (variant of choice) I change the setting to "stay here" I'd like to be able to "set it and forget it". LOL :)
Czuch Chuckers: Yeah... know. But sometimes it feels like a personal message works better to get a couple of moves from someone than just a green dot ;)
Heres a good one I havent heard before....
When you check on your online opponents, it would be nice to be able to send them a PM just like they were part of your fellowship. Something like "hey I am here, if anyone wants to play"

another link about 'chouette' variant... those interested should look at the bottom of the page and find many more variations of 'gammon games and maybe direct the powers that be on BK in this direction. if BK ever wanted to cater to their gammon players, as they do to their chess players, this would be a good place to get some ideas... :o)
Subjekt: Re: Tournament hosts--message for players
Nasmichael: The only problem with that (well, maybe notthe olny one, but something that occurred to me) is how do you let players know that there are new messages? Do you add these tournament boards to a player's favorite? What if a player doesn't want that done? Asside from programming for that issue, it seems like a great idea!
Subjekt: Re: Tournament hosts--message for players
Fencer: Is there a way to have a discussion board while the tournament is running? That way comments that are made as periodic updates could be posted immediately. I am not sure how many folks would come to the discussion boards after the fact. The community could surprise me, though. Thoughts?
On the crosstable page for a particular tournament, I would like to see a way for the person who hosted the tournament to send a message to the participants, to keep them updated on the progress of the games, to alert the players to particularly interesting games, to say after x weeks/months how many games are completed, who is making it to play-offs, etc. in order to give the tournament players a sense of "community" within that particular competition. What do you think? It would be similar in approach to the Fellowship Big Bosses sending blanket statements to their members. From the action board of the Tournament Crosstable, the host could communicate to the players who joined the tourney. Thoughts?
Is it a good idea to give move numbers in the game chat? When someone says: "Your last move was good" you know after a month still which move he means... Especially for teaching games it would be a fine feature:)
I know that we can eliminate the menus on the left in our game screen setup, but could we also have an option to eliminate all the game stats information if we don't want to see it?
