Tuesday: He turned down the stones invitation to join them after they kicked out Brian Jones, though Mick Taylor wasn't exactly chopped liver.........Roy was a tortured soul, he took his own life after being put in the drunk tank back in the 90's
Tuesday: Jeff Lynne was a member of The Travelling Wilburys. He also engineered some Beatles albums, which helps explain their large influence on his music
A New World Record was followed by a multi platinum selling album, the double-LP Out of the Blue, in 1977. Out of the Blue featured the singles "Turn to Stone", "Sweet Talkin' Woman", "Mr. Blue Sky", and "Wild West Hero", each becoming a hit in the United Kingdom. The band then set out on a nine-month, 92-date world tour, with an enormous set and a hugely expensive space ship stage with fog machines and a laser display. In the United States the concerts were billed as The Big Night and were their largest to date, with 80,000 people seeing them at Cleveland Stadium. The Big Night went on to become the highest-grossing live concert tour in music history up to that point (1978).[10] The band also played at the Wembley Stadium for eight straight sold-out nights during the tour as well, another record at that time
Tuesday: I remember seeing their biggest tour, they had a giant spaceship stage,it was such a pain to get everthing ready the stadium clock countdown flashed "abort mission" about 5 times and started the concert countdown again

Tuesday: California I think,Micheal Rutherford of Genesis produced the album.I remember buying it back in the mid 80's and listening to it on headphones after eating some hash,it sounded like the best music I had ever heard in my life, it's still a great cd, but really really hard to find
puupia: I played in some garage bands, played local bars around town.I was asked to join a band called Frank Soda and the Imps,I think there is some stuff of his on utube, but turned them down, didn't want to leave home at 17 and hit the road.......... Heavy Metal-karaoke bars? I've gotta find me one
