The new Premier League season starts Today, 90 days after the last campaign ended with Manchester United taking the title from Chelsea.
In the intervening period more than £350m has been spent as clubs desperate for success search for the winning formula.
But for all the money that the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham have lavished on new faces, it is United and Chelsea who start the season once again as most people's favourites for the title.
With Uefa Cup places also up for grabs and new boys Birmingham, Derby and Sunderland desperate to preserve their top-flight status it promises to be a fascinating season.
For myself, go Arsenal, you have won 2 Trophy's already inthe warm up Tournaments. You can do it
Well 2 trophys for the young Arsenal side as they get ready to take on the BIG 3 again in the pemiership starting next week. All i can say is Go Go Arsenal, Good Luck Lads
Emirates Cup
Robin van Persie's brilliant winner saw Arsenal beat Inter Milan and lift the pre-season Emirates Cup.
Van Persie tricked his way into space to drill a powerful shot past the Serie A champions' keeper Francesco Toldo.
Despite dominating for long spells Arsenal fell behind to a well-placed header from Inter's Honduras striker David Suazo.
Arsenal drew level when Alexander Hleb reacted to drill home the loose ball after Toldo saved his initial effort.
For long periods, it looked as though Arsenal had found no solution to their lack of cutting edge from last season.
Some of the Gunners' approach play and passing was exquisite, but they failed to carve out many chances against a stubborn Inter defence.
Hleb and van Persie were invariably involved in the chances they did create.
Hleb's delightful dummy set up van Persie in the first half but keeper Julio Cezar stretched to save and the Dutch striker drew another fine save from the Brazilian keeper.
Amsterdam Tournament
Arsenal scooped their second tournament trophy of the week with a battling 1-0 victory over Ajax on Saturday night.
Arsène Wenger's side had won the Emirates Cup last Sunday thanks to a late strike from Robin van Persie. It was a case of double Dutch this evening as the striker finished off a marauding run from Gael Clichy three minutes from time to win the Amsterdam Tournament.
The victory was deserved. Ajax keeper Maarten Stekelenburg had been by far the busier keeper, saving point-blank from Kolo Toure and Van Persie during a lively 90 minutes.
Of course, pre-season form will count for nothing when the campaign starts properly at the weekend. However, in the past eight days Arsenal's young side have strung together wins over PSG, Inter, Lazio and now Ajax.
Oceans Apart: Yes, he did great , i do feel sorry for Garcia though, he was leading for so long and playing so well. That first play off hole lost it for him
Good Luck to Amir Khan as he tries to get the Commonwealth Lightweight Title from Scotland's Willie Limond. Also, our local Michael Sprott takes on Matt Skelton for the Commonwealth Heavyweight Title

WELL DONE to Lewis Hamilton on winning the Canadian Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton won the Canadian GP, in Montreal, today, taking his maiden Grand Prix victory for McLaren-Mercedes in only his sixth start(One first, two seconds & three third places now, not bad eh). Nick Heidfeld finished second in the BMW-Sauber, while Alexander Wurz took third place in his Williams-Toyota.
Heikki Kovalainen in the Renault was fourth, Kimi Raikkonen in the Ferrari was fifth, Takuma Sato in the Super Aguri-Honda was sixth, Fernando Alonso in the second McLaren-Mercedes was seventh and Ralf Schumacher in the Toyota took the final point.
Rosert Kubica has been taken to the L'Hopital du Sacre-Coeur de Montreal in the downtown area for tests following his enormous crash in the Canadian Grand Prix. The Polish driver is reported to have a broken leg, but is conscious and talking. Kubica hit the wall at high speed (160+) on lap 27 while he was fighting for 13th place with Jarno Trulli. The collosal impact, on the right side of the track in the fast left-hander before the hairpin, catapulted the car back across the track , coming to rest on its side at the hairpin. He was extracted from the car eight minutes after the crash.

Oceans Apart: You can get 14-1 at the moment for that
If Hedgehunter does not win i think Point Barrow could do it. It won last years Irish Grand National.
Hey, i just had a though, how about a Brainking sweepstake for it ? Hmmm have to have a quick think, either Brains to enter, or 1 EUR each. Fencer could randomly generate who gets what horse & either share the Brains/Eur out 1st,2nd,3rd & 4th or maybe Fencer would donate some free months membership
Summer Flame: LOL, i dont know what the fuss is all about, all Flintoff did was went for a drink (ok, alot of drink). Imagine them doing that to Ian Botham & Viv Richards in there hey day They used to live together and play for different Teams, but drank all the time. In fact the rest of the players in them days for West Indies & England used to take it in turns to go out drinking with them, as no one could keep up, but they were still on the field the next day and you cant take away from them how good they were. Its all politics now......... The next thing will stop the darts players drinking before & after matches, its bad enough they stop them on stage now (and in snooker). Now for a
