It's not doing it that way either. I have been playing with it tonight, and regardless of the way I have my main page set up, it is acting weird. Sometimes it was taking me to a game that has been my turn since the 17th, and other times it was taking me to a game just moved on by an opponent online. (Which I wish it would always do!! lol)
Move and go to the Next Game in the first drop down box USED to take you to the game that had been your turn the longest.
Now it is just acting crazy..
Changing the way the main page is sorted doesn't seem to have any significance either.
it definately now orders it the way you have it on your main screen
try putting it in player name order etc or reverse time order to put the longest game at the top.
It is kinda cool, I like automatically playing the game with least time left now, but it does get kinda offputting sometimes playing the same game every other move, however, that can be good too if you like it that way
it's not taking me to the next game on my list, frankly i don't know where it's taking me, but i keep getting the same game back cause the player is on now, and i changed the order around and it still doesn't put the player you just played on the bottom, i guess fencer will have to explain it. thx to all of you.
"go to next game" option now takes you to the next game on your list and a move just played does not go to the bottom of the list anymore. It is dependent on how you have your order sorted on main page
i selected go to next game, and clicked default and then click move, and one of my players is on now, and her game keeps coming back, i now have the same stuation again, it's either not working or i'm doing something wrong.
ellie: You can do that. If you select "Go to next game" in the drop down list, and click the top "Move" button, it will take you to the game that has been your turn the longest - in other words, the games that your opponent just moved it will go to the bottom so you can play the others first.
i want to be able to click the red# next to main page, and play every game and not have the ones i played keep coming back, i want those to go to the bottom of the list like they used to, and most times i'll play them again as i get to them.i have over 80 games, and i want to be sure to play them all.

I have all the players in my "Friends online" section and I look there and play all the persons who are NOT listed there first. Then I play the people online at the present time and can play them as they keep playing me. Do you think this will work for you ellieoop?
Would not necessarly need another column, but just a small clickable link that "sorts by last played" which would sort the main list - and then also show in the drop down box like that also.
Ellie, I believe if you click Move and go to Next Game, you will go to the game that would have appeared at the top of the drop down box(the way it used to be sorted)
Meaning, Move and go to Next Game, goes the the game that has been your turn the longest.. (nothing to do with time left)
I like that the drop down box matches however you have your main page set up. However, I too miss the ability to use the drop down box to see what games most recently came back to my list..(to play them right away, assuming the person is still online and will maybe make yet another move, too)
The perfect solution would be if somehow the main page could be sorted in that way, then the drop down box could again too..
This of course, would mean another column on the main page (amount of time it's been your turn, maybe?).. and Fencer may not want another column?
The other solution maybe, would be to have someplace in Settings where you can choose, "Have drop down box sorted the old way, of being in the order in which they appeared on your main page" (less wordy than that of course! lol)..
is there a way to have the games you played go to the bottom of your games, like it was before? i have changed the time from the least time, but now the people i play are coming to the top of the list. i keep playing the same games, and i can't tell who i've played by looking at the list in the drop down box, cause i'm playing a lot of games with the same people. i hope someone knows what i mean. LOL..
if this was addressed before, forgive me, but i have had a thought!
On the Team Tournaments page--can there be as well as "sign up for team tournament" also a "team tournaments in progress" and much later, "completed team tournaments" section? i was just wondering, once i finish the games i have going on this list, how can i go and watch the progress of the tournament?
Fencer, its senseless to leave those two as the moderators. They're discrminating people such as Bwild and Stevie. Leaving them as the moderators is idiocy. I've put my two cents in.
how many moderators should there be,Fencer?
I would be happy to help out,if you remove purple princess.Gooner lives in England,I'm in the central U.S.
th 2 of us should be able to manage quite well.
bwildman: If I make you a moderator, will you keep the topic on some meaningful music discussion instead of neverending postings of long [and probably copyrighted] texts of songs?
I dont want sympathy,I want action! I hav played the guitar and sang for over 35 years, and I love music.I posted 2 songs that I like to play and sing,to share with the other readers. They were not dedicated to no one,but who wanted to read them.I am a paid member, and once again the Music board moderator has violated my right to the V.I.P.services I fully deserve.
Is this the kind of treatment new members can expect?
I agree with the fact that these boards are not for insulting one another, but to close them is not the answer. The DB's are part of what make this site what it is.
I read them because there are a lot of fun people and intersting posts.
But too many are using the boards for personal insults and that doesnt make people happier.
Doesnt gain a fun gamesite at all.
I know this belongs at the feature requests board but since we talk dbs here:
A while ago (half year i guess) i suggested an "ignorebutton" so we could ignore (mute, not see) posts from the ignored player.
Could it be a "step 1" before you need to close the boards?
