In statistics page, you can see the top best 50 players with summed BKRs. That means, who played much up today here. At the right column same things with averaged totals from 1/1 (played 123/ from 123) to 1/7 (ca. played 17/ from 123) sum of all games -as of October 2008-.
This statistics may be modified up to 1/20 and give more views for interested users.
As you know; in the tournaments page, only in the red status capture all first look. At this time, first two pages show only these types. I think some Brainking's members forget to give a chance for other tournaments creators.
My offers are: 1- On the top of first page would be a link for the delayed tournaments (red status), then follows other tournament lines in 'open' status but greater than zero minutes. 2- On the top of pages, at status line, would be two links for open tournaments; like "include 'delayed starts'" and "exclude 'delayed starts'"
It would be good to see the tournaments start time on the pages of all tournaments and finish times for archived pages. I think that this times are in the database and it can be modified only for pages. Thank you.
We have many times one or more pieces (broken or not) on the bar, for these type games. I need to see how many broken pieces on my side and on my opponents' side. This is important and can be code for different colors of pieces or simply with warn message on the top of the game page.
It should be better and more understandable, to see the user ratings not only in row (like 1.,2.3.,..n.,) also to see the place percents of total users (1%, 2%, 3%, .. n%) of any game!
Fencer: Like 'Backgammon', 'Nackgammon', etc. for one type tournament; like 'Gammons' for mixed gammon types; or like 'Different' for different type of games.
On the tournaments page, fails 'type of game' column. The name column does not give the right info. Some of them are in other languages also. Would be good, to see 'type of game' without clicking on it!
In the main page of general tournaments, I saw following datas:
Name Time to deadline Time control (?) Creator
Backgammon 2100+ 30 mins 4 days zockerdotcom
When I click on this tournament, I saw following datas:
You cannot sign up for this tournament because the maximum number of players is 5.
Now, I suggest a modifications for the main page of all general tournaments:
If the player counts of any tournament full and accept no more player, users like to see the situation under the 'time to deadline' any of following words: 'No more register' or 'filled'.
This help to users effort to save from clicking on and come back again useless.
It would be better if user selected board = 1, to see 'user infos' at the left or right side of board games.
This change gives to users quick understand latest position, points etc. without scrolling the page and get response. It specially helps to users who plays many games at the same time like tournaments.
