Dolittle: nothing, but I don't think they qualify for a "best r n r band in history" list.,especially in place of some of the bands awsome mentioned.Where are The Allman Brothers?
Dandy-Pie: I have to agree with you. I was a little taken aback by Bon Jovi too. You were sure to vote for Kiss out of the bunch left there. Thanks for the illustration.
awesome: I didn't look at all of the bands that had been eliminated already, but I know The Who was one, and maybe Cream. So, if your favorite band isn't there, you might look to that for information. I just know Jeff Beck wasn't mentioned. And, I wondered how that happened.
I'm having a lot of trouble watching videoes right now. I hope to have this handled this week. Watching videos on this system (????) is like trying to drive a car that's missing on two cylinders - choppy at best, dead stopped at worst. And the video and audio are not in sync. So, please pardon me while I recover from this problem.

I've been scarce here for a while, just chillin', trying to come up with some enthusiasm. It hit me today when I played The Groobees CD in the car while I was running some errands. I know, you've never heard of the Groobees, they're Texas folk. But, Susan Harris bears listening to. She's an outstanding song writer, and .... I'll let her tell you.
Dandy-Pie: You sent me off to Google, so I guess I'm showing my age (so what's new?). I'd never heard of Zan and Jayna. They must have been around during one of my ban-TV periods, and died before I returned. Was it a good show?
Hunkey: !!!Thank you so much for the references!!! AND, thank you for stopping in. AIDS is definitely affecting all of us, and our children. "Say It's Not True" conveys such a succinct message, not only in the world of AIDS research, but in the health care industry itself. As you know, this is a big issue in our society in the U.S. IMHO, no medical care should be withheld from anybody due to their inability to pay. There is something wrong with the picture where people are practicing medicine for financial gain rather than helping people live healthy, productive lives. As I wrote to the Governor of Texas just last week, "This system is wrong" this system is sick. I applaud Paul Rodgers, and Brian May for making this performance available. Let us volley it on to every corner of the world.
Thema: I loved the music from the film LADY SINGS THE BLUES
Imagine a 13 year old boy walking the halls of his school singing The Man I Love,......keep in mind it was 1974,anyway,Ella does a masterful job in this version
Hey, Ewe, glad you had fun. It's really a thrill to meet people in real life you've been chatting with on the net for years. It's like you know them on the inside, but you've never met their outside.
That Sicknote vid was really fun, I liked it. But, I looked and I looked, and I never saw any bunny ears. How could I miss such a thing?
666? That must be an extensive menu. Good thing no goats were harmed, I might have been one.
Yummy yummy yummy I've got love in my tummy??? Will we ever hear that on Lawrence Welk? The Archies? You're having to dig deep for this stuff!
TexasToest: Hiya!! Well we had a fantastic night out last night, Dreadzone were superb!! One of the support bands, Sicknote, were really great too! Lovely crowd there & another amazing thing was I got to meet one of my BK friends who I have been playing for about 4 years! It was just an awsome night!
You guys got busy. Thanks for all the little treats on my arrival home. Hey Ewe, good to see you. When you two were showing Dreadzone and The Beat, I was reminded of my fave group of that ilk, Afro Celt Sound System
Thanks for the Turkey Day greeting, Dandiest. It really WAS trippy. And, who can resist a Canadian Mounty named Dudly? Hahahah!!

Last night, I was listening to some Leonard Cohen. At about the same time that Cohen was on the scene, this lady was doing some astounding things, and thoughts of Cohen brought her to mind. So, she's been rattling around in there all day. The only way I could get her out of there was to post this.
There was a quote from Buffy in some of the notes about this song where she said she wrote it in the basement of The Purple Onion coffeehouse in Toronto.

Tuesday: I'm suprised they released a double cd,but I guess if you throw enough darts at the wall a few might stick(I might have screwed up that analogy) lol
