Arctic Warrior: I am as well Artic.. been having probs for over a week now.. I have called my ISP and they have done everything they know.. it is DEFINATELY BRAINKING..

Why shouldn't he.. he doesn't get a paycheck from this site .. he has to handle a career, family, children.. regular lifes duties.. Why is it supposed to be number one that he fixes all glitches at the drop of a hat??

Chill man.. he will get to it.. it isn't anything personal towards you.. and the more you pester.. the higher the chance that you will have at being removed..

Fencer is a normal everyday person.. who took the iniative to put this site together and offer it to the www for those who enjoy playing similar games.. HE IS NOT GOD!! Nor the almighty.. and he deserves to play when he so desires to..

and so far so good with getting into the site.. I recommend this for anyone having probs ..

Been having lots of problems lately getting into this site.. usually when I am on here.. I notice my graphics dropping off.. and then the site boots me out.. anyone else having this problem..

I think it is silly to even go by ratings on the net.. so many peeps out there are so serious at being in the top spot.. they will go to extremes.. heck.. I play for fun.. if I lose.. (which I do often).. then I lose.. Big deal.. the conversation and challenge was fun..

To those that do use programs to aid in their game.. Why bother coming to a site with real players?? Why not play your program.. *shrugs shoulders*

and I too noticed that other sites were sailing through just fine and dandy..

mrloupcity: I think also by changing the name. Sites can legally avoid the lawsuits.

I know prescription drug companies.. when they first come out with a drug.. such as Tylenol.. it was not allowed to be copied for like 20 years.. then after that time.. other drug manufacturers are allowed to create the generic.. Or something like that.. it has something to do with the manufacturer and the brand name..

Anyway.. back to my point.. I think that is how it is with most patents.. and BattleShip has been around for much longer than 20 years..

Different patents though could have different time frames.. so don't quote me.. just finished doing my homework and it is 3am.. so mind is a bit fuzzy.. besides, my one text book about the prescription drugs and patents.. is down at my parents motel .. hehe.. my mom wanted to read through it..

or a tourney to choose the option of not allowing auto vacation??

Seeing how there are prize tourneys and some tourneys where you get a huge responce to play.. isn't there a way to not allow *auto vacation*..

I could understand if the game were given a one day time limit. or even up to 3 days.. But, when the game is set up to allow a week or more to make a move, I find it ridiculous to allow auto vacation. And if so.. It should only be allowed to use with one day intervals..

For explaining this a bit more.. the one I am upset with has well over 600 games going. He did come on the site today.. and played around 100 moves.. now obviously to me he has taken and committed to at least 5 times the amount he can actually handle. He is holding up I don't know how many tourneys in the process. But the move limit on this tourny is already set at 10 days. He has shown over the months that he has played here that he consistantly plays in this manner. where you don't see him for days.. (cause he is in his other account).. yet pops over and catches the tourneys that are just about to time.

I realize this is a turned based site. But, I also realize that someone shouldn't come on this site and purposely take advantage of the liency given to begin with. And it is rather obvious that he is doing this.

Yes.. I agree BBW.. I just checked on the one user that has abused this.. only to learn he has 623 games going.. I don't know how many were in the last few mins.. but, a large portion of his games were in their final hours..

Why is he allowed to have so many games to begin with if he isn't going to play on them..

I don't know about what you are going through with a cell phone.. I don't use a cell so am not too sure what the sms code is.. I think Fencer mentioned it was an international code.. I would try to go through paypal themselves.. give them a call perhaps there should be a 1-800 number listed somewhere.

as for if you have a visa or mastercard.. it seemed fairly easy on my end.. as far as the little surcharge.. I didn't mind.. it really isn't all that expensive anyway.. Heck.. I would spend way more going out just one night.. then the fee here..

And I am entitled to have some entertainment.. like everyone else is..
