My browser shows all squares of the same size. But maybe some other browsers have problems with that. Please let me know which squares ot the game board are wrong and I will investigate it closely.

Emne: Notation box
If you could can we get a box to but personal notations for our games?

6. December 2002, 18:56:02

Emne: Re: Notation box
Yes, it is possible. And where should the personal notes be displayed?

Emne: Re: Notation box
I was thinking, and sorry for mentioning another site, but like gt's, so that we can make little notes about our games progress, or maybe a move we should have or have not made. Does that make sense?

6. December 2002, 19:00:13
Fencer
Emne: Re: Notation box
Yes, it makes sense. What I would like to know is where to show such personal notes. Somewhere below the game board? You know, I don't want to make the game pages too long or complicated.
I never used this feature on GT.

hmmmmm, maybe just below the message box?

Emne: Re: Notation box
If U do put one in .. could it be "a hidden tag" ... like "note pad" or private note" as NOT to get confused with the NORMAL message box.

Emne: Five-In-Line
Fencer, is the 28 X 28 size board the only size you have, or am I missing the "choose board size" option page..??
I believe a smaller size board may eliminate the problem for the "too big to be shown" problem for NTL users and like myself, a web-tv user. I just had my opponet delete a game because I could not get a full board no matter what I tried. I even shut my unit off to clean it's "kahoochees".. LOL...

Just realized it's only a 20 X 20 board, but now I'm playing another opponent and still having the same problems.. I tried the different settings, all kinds of different ways and still to no avail..

What about a "Players online that i have a game against" list?
:-)

Emne: Re:
I've just made the players I have a game against = 'friends'; then they show up when they are on-line.

When the game is over do you remove them, or will your friends list be the whole site eventually? lol

Emne: Re:
I don't know if i'd go through the trouble of adding 60 people to my friend's list and trying to figure out who to remove and who to add...seems like quite a pain! lol

Five in Line - yes, I prepare a smaller version.
Kevin: Good idea, it is not difficult to add :-)

Emne: One more!
How about...at the bottom of some of the pages...the ones tht end up being really long, i.e. the db's, there is a spot to click on to go to the main page of to your next awaiting game. Just a little convience so that we don't have to scroll all of the way back up the page. Thanks...I know I'm a pain!

Emne: Re: One more!
Or even just one of those things you click to go to the top of the page without scrolling up!

Fencer made the reversi pieces 3D norma so we could tell the difference.. he did that this week

norma8: I am sorry but as I wrote you several times, I have too much more important tasks in my TODO list. And as roserodew points out, the difference between Line4 and Reversi pieces is now really significant.
I will add color schemes later but I really don't know when. I simply cannot do everything at once.

Sandman, hrlqns: That should be no problem. I'll do it at the next update. Probably a link "go to the top" at the bottom.

Thanx Fencer.. I sure hope that does the trick..

Emne: One player games?
What would be the chances of a couple of small one player games we could play while waiting for our turn to move?
You know, like a hangman or wordsearch or something... just to give us something to do while we wait!

Emne: Re: colour
as I messaged Fencer and apologised.... sorry for the upset I seemed to have caused as a friend pointed out the reply from Fencer seemed rather rude .Iam aware he has a lot of things to sort out. but manners cost nothing..

you have to go back a few messages (8th dec 18:58) .. but it's pretty clear that fencer did all he could to help and was possibly sounding rather hassled ... certainly not rude !

Emne: Playing Next Game
What determines which 'next' game comes up? I ask, because if an opponent is on-line and playing, his/her game seems to come up next, when they make their move. I think I would prefer it if that game went to the end of the list.

Emne: Re: Opponents On-line
I agree with Kevin; it woukd be very useful to see which opponents are on-line. Adding/removing friends is a bit hard going!

Emne: Re: Playing Next Game
Currently it is not determined by any rule. I'll try to improve it.

Okay, both features are implemented. Try them.

How do we get to see this new feature, please?

Emne: Re: Opponents O-Line
If you go to 'Who is on-line' from left hand list, at the top of that there is the option to show only your opponents that are online. :0)
