There is a handicap feature for shogi games, but it appears that it can't be used for tournaments. I'd like to try a tournament in which the players each play one game giving and one game taking a handicap against each opponent. How difficult would it be to set that up?
It's on my tablut boards as well. I haven't changed any settings and I can't see what I could change to repair it. Thanks for the suggestions, in any case.
Could we get a feature that filters members of less than a certain period from seeing games in the waiting room? More than 10% of my games are taken by first day members, who almost all time out without moving.
As tablut is a quite different game, depending on whether one conducts white or black, it would be interesting to see ratings based on the different colours.
How about frighteningly coloured rooks for poor sportsmen who might compell a person to spend the rest of their days demonstrating a win that could be tossed out without any thought in a few minutes, eg: http://brainking.com/game/ShowGame?g=415627 ?
One needs to be able to distinguish between bulk fellowship and personal messages. I'm getting so many that I can no longer be bothered to reply to them all (and imagine as a big boss getting all those replies) but some might be personal individually addressed messages.
I cant see any indication included with bulk fellowship mail identifying the fellowship from which it originated. Big Bosses be aware, write the name of the source.
As membership increases so will the number of waiting games. Whether those games are posted by one or many members is irrelevent, obviously there should be no suggestion that they be deleted.
I'd like some acacia trees, then when I look at players online and find them browsing, I can imagine they're giraffe strolling tropical plains silhouetted against the setting sun.
How about a sub-board for boards such as features to which the discussions arising from a request can be moved while leaving the main board free for new business?
I had a player accept four of my games from the waiting room. In one he made a mistake on the second move, he resigned that game and deleted the other three. There was no question of the games being accepted by a mistake of any kind. This is quite annoying, so much so that I thought of putting him on enemies. There are at least two games that I regularly play which can be decided very early, if delete is going to exist for paying members (I dont see why it should) there is no reason why the option should be available on the second move. It's the responsibility of the person accepting the game to check that the conditions suit them.
Another possibility would be for a replacement game to be automatically posted in the waiting room to save the victim of deletion from the need to do so themself.
