Pawns can make linear moves and all pieces can jump only orthogonally.
(*) It is mandatory to capture as many pieces (as one multi-jump) as possible.
(**) It is mandatory to capture the maximum possible amount of promoted pieces.
(***) It is mandatory to capture with a promoted piece if possible.
Turkish Checkers
Turkish Checkers is a variant of Czech Checkers with two important differences:
Starting position of the pieces. As the following picture shows, the pieces are placed on both dark and light fields of the board:
Movement of pieces. A pawn can move (and jump) in three directions - horizontally-left, horizontally-right and directly forward moves. When a pawn reaches the last row, it turns to a queen that can move (and jump) any number of spaces in four directions (left, up, right and down).
The following picture displays an example of white queen capturing four black pawns (before and after the move):
