Teema: Re:I saw no police violence in that video. The man was shoved and he fell.
(V): and has i said on the first day when the inquiry has finished i make my mind up i dont like ppl who speculate on something they really know nothing about
has ive said since DAY 1 until all the facts are known before making a judgement
Jules wasnt there on that day so how can he possible know all the facts there are hundreds of questions that need answering and until they are Jules can only speculate that said policeoffericer should be charged with manslaughter
Teema: Re:I saw no police violence in that video. The man was shoved and he fell.
Artful Dodger: at last someone else sees what i see 2 sides to the story
until all the evidence is laid out before the public i dont see how anyone can say this police officer should be charged with anything he was doing his job in a very heated situtation there was alot of anger on both sides of the coin that day and until we know what was said by both parties how can we possible know who was in the wrong
Teema: Re:Its legal if during a riot, the police command you to show your hands, and to move out of the way.... as far as i know, it is illegal to disobey any command from a police officer, and they always have a right to force you to comply.
(V): has the whole scene was very heated AND I SAY AGAIN WITHOUT ANY SOUND WE DONT KNOW WHAT WAS SAID!!!!
in these trouble times they could well of thought he was a sudice bomber for all we know so in that context they should take him out in whatever way possible
(V): and here we are nearly 9 months down the line and still nothing new to report but i will say if it was has straight forward has you claimed on that day surely the policeman invovled would of been charged by now instead we have nothing so has i said in the start lets wait until the enquiry has finished
Artful Dodger: thats exactly what i was trying to tell V that day wait and see we dont know all the facts but if i remember correctly he kept putting me down saying the video evidence is fact enough
(V): And after WWII the Empire became the Commonwealth. Gurkha's still join the British army and fight side by side with British born soldiers, and more recently won the right to remain in the UK after retirement thanks to a campaign by UK citizens which forced the government to give in despite the cost
and cost shouldn't come into it many Gurkha's have laid down there lives to fight for our country so the least we can do is let them live here if they so wish without thinking about money
Teema: Re:the sooner the BBC and the government realise that ppl will not be ripped off any more the better
(V): whatever you say must be right you twist things round to suit yourself has per normal
all im saying is in 2017 if the BBC has to show adverts to survive i be the happiest person in the UK but you want to bring everything else into the conversation and twist it to make you look good well i dont have time to argue with you so Good Night
(V): Right.. so while footballers are ripping off people and clubs thanks to 'Sky sports', Murdoch wants to charge for access to Murdoch group websites.. like news.
i couldnt care less what footballers get paid why bring that up what has it got to do with over paid actors such has Ross
and i OBJECT to my hard earned money going towards giving him a life of luxury
Teema: Re:its stupid even ppl who dont have a television installed but have a computer still have to pay it
(V): i think you find your just one of a few these days
the sooner the BBC and the government realise that ppl will not be ripped off any more the better
i could only ever agree to a tv licence in any shape or form when they stop paying the outragous wages to these wanabe stars ie: Johnathon Ross and all the soap stars
cant wait for 2017 to come and have them kick it into touch once and for all
(V): Some may not like the BBC and it's license fee, but it's a neutral company by it's charter. The fee pays for countless free local radio stations as well as TV without advertising. Nothing Murdoch owns can be said to be the same.
its outdated in this day and age the BBC should do what the other stations do and allow adverts to make there money
its stupid even ppl who dont have a television installed but have a computer still have to pay it
i did read somewhere but cant find the link now that the government have to wait until 2017 until the BBC charter is up for renewal before they can make any changes
Bernice: we pay £142 50p a year for a tv licence which every household must have or get taken to court this funds the BBC its very unpopular these days cause simply its outdated
Artful Dodger: when it was first mentioned that he would appear i was gob smacked that a tv station i have to pay a licence fee for was allowing him on
but after watching it and esp how the rest of the panel shot him down made him look small made my day
(V): Afterwards he complained that he had been treated unfairly saying much of the show had been a "beat up Nick Griffin programme instead of Question Time".
(V): just has the labour government did nothing to fix the problems she created which brings everything nicely back to AD's post which was Frankly, it sounds like both our governments are a bunch nitwits when it comes to financial matters.
okay had my say now back to what im really here for to play games
PS I don't know where you see this happening very rarely, and 2) how do you know they didn't buy this stuff before losing a job? 3) how do you know if they are single? thats easy to answer known most of them since birth known there parents before them etc etc dont have to be brain of Britain to know they just a bunch of layabouts who abuse the system year in year out
(V): but thats was the whole idea of the dole system surely was to tie ppl over until they found another job it was never meant to gave ppl luxury items like it does now
if the money is so low for single ppl how come you never or very rarely see these ppl without the latest designer gear pulling up to the signing on offices in there cars all with there mobile phones
heres a case in point few years ago i had to go my local social security office to sort things out after my mother died and a girl in there was bragging that she come in for a crisis loan and she said they couldnt refuse her has she had children despite the fact that on every finger where gold rings and she actually reported the guy behind the desk when he quite natually pointed out why didnt she sell some of her gold if she was that hard up
its not actually the system i object to its the abuse of the system thats carried out on such a massive scale there will always be ppl in genuine need
(V): yeah ive heard about these so called schemes they attend for allotted time fill in a few forms do a CV knowning full well that at the end of the day they not going to find work and so its back to the life of Riley on the dole
if there money was cut everytime they attended one of these so called schemes they just might get the message GET OF YOUR LAZY BUTT AND FIND WORK
(V): thats my point its good to give to those ppl who are in the low paid jobs ive nothing against that one lil bit but im talking about giving to those who live there whole working lives on the dole
and how are ppl on these benifits able to afford internet access anyway ?
they would be able to buy there children computers and whatever else if they went out and found work
and dont tell me there isnt the jobs available cause there is if they look hard enough they prefer to drink there beers take there drugs and get everything handed to them on a plate and why should any decent hard working person have to pay for someone else child to have the same has theyve had to work hard for
she didnt decide to spend us out of a recession she didnt decide to send us into 2 wars that had nothing to do with us she was the one who infact cleaned up the mess after THE LAST LABOUR GOVERNMENT
i love to see one of the government ministers challenged to take up a job where the take home pay is coppers more than what benifits pay out
i love to see one of them come to live on any of the hundreds of estates that are no go areas after dark because of fear of being murdered cause you didnt give the hooded gangs a ciggie when they demanded it
i love to see a top goverment minister have to walk thou the crack and heroin addicts just to get home
but it will never happen they live in there own lil worlds and dream there own lil dreams
(V): in my mind the country is in a right mess brought on by nearly 10 years of a labour government
the country is in serious debt which every man woman and child will be paying for for the next 30 years
we were taken into 2 wars that the vast majority of the UK ppl didnt want and we dont even equip our troops properly for the last few years weve been led by a joker who wasnt even elected we have elected members of the house of commons ripping us off left right and centre we are on our knees and then the government comes up with this stupid idea to sell off things
but the sad thing is the conservatives will not do any better
Teema: Re: Well it seems the goal to me.... make everyone the same/ equal.... all the same care and education etc, and pay for it from taxing the wealthy, and then the wealthy are not so and the poor are not so.
(V): but sadly the ones who do the donkey work IE: the nurses get a pittance
but Jules lives in the rich South while us poor Northerns are the poor relations
my next door neighbour husband died a couple of months ago on route to hospital in an ambulance the ambulance driver decided en route that he was fed up of doing over time so he went by ambulance depot and clocked off still with patient on board so there was a delay of over 7 mins whilst the shift change took place and reaching the hospital hence the patient on board died he may of course have died anyway we will never know for sure but my point is from the top notch doctors to the cleaners of the hospitals are overworked poorly paid and thousands leave every year to work in the private sector
Bernice: i agree with you on this being from the UK there are many many things wrong with the health service here first off the nurses are very underpaid we still have very long waiting lists hospitals are not clean they should bring back the Matron IMO doctors are strenched to the limit
when i was in hospital last year i went to the bathroom and the toilet seat was filthy i asked the cleaner who was dishing out the mid morning cuppa to sort it out only to told that it wasnt her job on that day and it would have to wait until the night cleaners came on shift another 8 hours away
(V): i remember being in a room on pogo.com on Christmas day and being told off by someone for wishing everyone in the room a Happy Christmas it wasn't ethical to do that anymore i was told
