Hogan's Goat is code for Shagon Tago, a feared but very slow preditor of Leopards suffering from influenza

LOL @ Purple.
I remember my first day at boot camp and they eventually managed to form us up in thre ranks and then when we marched off, rather than saying "Left right left right" like I expected, I heard this ridiculous "Owf Ite Owf Ite" I think that was the last time I actually smiled until about 8 weeks later

In the Navy at Officer's Candidate School during brigade drill many of us were told we were slower than Hogan's Goat. Everybody pretended like they knew what it meant. It has to mean something. :)

Hogan's goat?
Never heard that saying.
Does it have anything to do with Hogan's Heroes or is it another Hogan?

Just found the new Top Player page in the Statistics area, cool.

i love stats. Shows how close I am to my goal of 66% (twice as many wins as loses - win 2 games for every 1 game lost.) :-)

Modified by danoschek (29. October 2004, 23:41:49)
since highranking players will be challenged and lose
their position if not defending actively - therefore removing
makes only sense for the inactive lowestranking ones imho ~*~

I notice on some sites that When a player with a high ranking has not played for a period of 15 days they are removed from the rankings... Is this implamented here?

a good one indeed ... for pente and other games
with unbalanced chances depending on the colour,
a 2-games match or 'best of three' seems better. ~*~

Subject: Re: Question
Obviously Fencer can do anything on the site he likes! But moderators are able add and remove other mods, and as long as there are no problems on the board, Fencer doesn't object to us doing so.

Subject: Re: Question
Are the moderators of these public boards the same as a big boss, where you make all the decisions? I thought Fencer was responsible for adding or removing moderators?

29. October 2004, 19:57:20
harley
Rose, there is hardly ever a problem on this board, and when there it its dealt with quickly. Those posts were only there an hour. But your suggestion was taken on board and I've already messaged NOT a floosie to get her opinion. Any decision will be made between us. Although we don't want to get into a 'too many cooks' scenario like on other boards.

So deleting my request to have more mods on this board in different time zones is how to handle that?
