hahahah 20 years ago....I was about your age bumble .....40...hehehhe
**edit** hehehe and here come the remarks....thanks Bumble, we both know what it is like to decline in our later years dont we :)
I know...dont be so lazy.. but i can see on the bottom half of my main page all my fellowships, having to go there and then click on number of posts isnt an incentive to do that exactly ( but then that depends on the fellowship i guess) there are some fiery buggars LOLOL
the fellowships dont go into the favourites nor bernice.. any new messages show up by the side of any fellowship, and just click on that red number to read the message.
I dont want to make a pest of myself with changing pics...my "eye" was disturbing to some....no worries... my dog is bringing some hilarious remarks hehehehehe.....my real pic.??
If yours can be 3 years old dear Fencer, can mine be 20 years old...Im on the decline side you see and dont need smart remarks from some of your members..no names but you all know where im coming from LOLOL
HAHAHAHA....Damned foreign languages hehehehe
Bwild....you a buggar of a man:)
Fencer....do you have a criminal record? LOLOL prolly not but i bet there are a few here that do ROFLMBO
AD...I would love to see more of you BUT....and that is a big butt hehehe your butt I mean ROFLMBO
I am probably going over old things here but
I know someone who needs to change their name (for a genuine reason) Do they hve to do it through you now fencer?? Or can they do it just through editing their details?
bwildman: Damned foreign languages! You know what I mean :-)
ellie: You can do it through "support us" page, just type 56 do the PayPal box. I know what it is for.
Bernice: My pic is real. 3 years old, though :-)
Ellie: I don't know what exchange rates PayPal uses but anyway, all membership prices are in EUR. I was not happy to make this change from USD to EUR but I had to because of a tax policy change in our country [the tax for BrainKing fees was changed from 5% to 22%].
I really would like to know...
Do people actually post their REAL pics here?
except for myself, Dolittle, AD and a couple of others, it looks like it. HEHEHEHE...Im saving all the pics and taking them to the police station to see if there are any "Most Wanted's" on here HAHAHAHAAHA
sorry Harley..off topic, but it could be for the good of BK ROFLMBO
You go Kevin! I've had certain nameless people rag me for not playing games at their speed too. And shame on them for thinking that Customer Service Reps cannot have a life outside of BrainKing. I enjoy this site, but I have not played any of my games due to personal circumstances which is no one's business. And, I might not move on some til next week. So what? Its only a game. shrug.
Well based on the current exchange rate found on xe.com ($1.2319 US = 1 EUR) for the 56 EUR to pay for the 2 memberships you'd pay $68.9864 US, which is approximately $1.75 less than $35.37 * 2.
Yes, for two memberships (56 EUR) you'd double it. However, if you're not paying on paypal and just sending cash or something you could use a more accurate exchange rate such as that found on http://www.xe.com or some other currency exchange site.
Kevin, you don't owe anyone an explanation, you have done nothing wrong, don't let a few people ruin your game time. i think you're a fine young man.
then you say the 35.37 is correct, and then i will now go and pay it, and do i have to do it twice for 2 memberships?
thx. ellie
All I will say is that if I do not time out, I have done nothing wrong. I have explained why I play slower than most - if you can't accept it, all I could do is say it again which obviously will not help.
As for using my Customer Service participation to bash my slow-playing, that's just low and a poor excuse for an argument. It has nothing to do with my game-playing habits. Some will prefer to play fast, some will prefer to play slow. Someone asking me to play faster doesn't force me to, just like someone asking for $1,000 doesn't force me to give it to them.
It's been said before, and I'll say it again - the time limit is the time required to make your moves it. It does NOT allow for extra "emergency time". If you want to play a 7-day per move game, be prepared to wait 7 days between each move. If you don't want to wait 7 days between each move, do not play 7-day move games. It's very simple.
You say some people pay "Real money" to play? And you think I don't? I have paid for 2 years of my own rook membership and a combined 4 1/2 year rook for others and 1 year knight for others. At the current rate, that's 188 Euros (about $232 US, according to the current exchange rate), although it'll be a little less because at least one of mine was $28 US before it was changed to Euros. I don't think anyone besides CaoZ can say they've paid that much "Real money" as you call it. And I'll remind you I only have a part-time job that probably pays 1/3 or less of what you get.
I followed the link in the "Paid Membership" area (without actually sending a payment), but my total was around $34.50. Take a look again to make sure what total is actually shown.
Well you can view the current conversion rate at www.XE.com - and I just checked on PayPal, and the total that I was shown was around 34.50 US$ (28 EUR)
The only place I seen "37" was next to the "sellers" name, but that has nothing to do with the price.
i'm trying to buy a membership thru paypal, and it only gives me a price if i click euro under my rook membership, that says $28.00 and euro say's 37, and it won't let me access it unless i go with euro. is that the only price now?
ellie
Can anyone sell things in the store? I'd like to sell titles of books and chapters, all the purchaser has to do is fill in the gaps, little bit like a colour-it-in book.
