What happens if a pawn wins his/hers section in a tournament, passes on to the next stage but has already used up all the 20 game slots in the meantime?
I'm going on a two week vacation in November,,,I just set my vacation days,,but I didnt see the automatic thingy you mentioned..I will go look again 0:-)
Ok,I found it & check marked it,,but I noticed that when I went back there,,my vacation days that I marked didnt stay..it was back to October..Is it suppose to do that?
Why i can't add the discussion boards of some fellowships to my favourite boards?
For example i can't add discussion board of "The Gothic Chess Ladder: Enter the Vortex" or "Debate club" to the list of my favourite boards, while i can add the discussion board of "The Chess Club" for example to my favourite discussion boards.
While the "button" that says add this to favourite board, appers at The Chess Club fellowship, it doesn't appear at the other......
I'm surprised that there is a button for the Chess Club Fellowship - When BK2.0 came along, Fencer took the option to add any Fellowship boards to the favourites board. The only thing you can add to the favourites board list is regular discussion boards.
It seems that since i had these before, they remained there.
But due to a mistake of me that removed the "The Gothic Chess Ladder: Enter the Vortex" discussion board from the list of favourites now i can't bring it back so i have been confused. But why i can't have it there? It's annoying.....
you dont need a fellowship board on your faves anymore anyway. If there are new messages, they appear in red numbers and you just click on the number and you are there. If there are no unread messages, you have to make 2 clicks to get there, but why? you have read all the messages anyway so this would be used infrequently
On a few fellowship boards that I post often (including my own), I find it really hand to have them listed on my Favourite's board - and not have to go searching through the many fellowships that I'm in to find the correct one, then scroll down to find the message board.
I find the red number next to the fellowship name a GREAT feature so I don't have to have so many boards on my favourites list, but I still never understood what it hurt to keep that option there for who liked to use it.
There isn't much consistancy. Purple World is listed in Fav's and Fellowship columns but Politics R Us only in fellowship column. I never checked or unchecked anything ever.
Thank you for deleting your insulting posts Stevie.
It is always good to see someone see reason ;)
I am sure those insults directed towards Purple have no place here anymore.
Thanks
I too would like to have back the option to add them to favorites list. Often I want to post a new message to a board where there are no new messages, and like LJ said, I have to go to the fellowship firts to get to the DB.
P... you must have added Purple world to your favorites before the bk2 switch? and just dont remember?
nope, many have done this, ive watched mine do it all weekend. they were due to time out (red minutes) but the profiles were set for weekend days sat and sun. so when they timed out..they didnt. and they were extended to end of weekend.
now stop sighing...get your head out your *** and think straight :o)
once again you are trying to stir up trouble Stevie
I think we have all had enough of this
you have a filthy mouth but no doubt you will delete your posts again like you did last time
sigh
Skyking: If you look into the person's profile, you will he has free days on Saturday and Sunday ... The way the new time-out system works is, that it adds extra 24 hours *after* you time-out (if it is weekend or holidays).
It could have been automatic vacation, but it could also been as Stevie described. When the time was turned back on, some of my games were scheduled to time out on my weekend days (which in this case is monday and tuesday). Fencer mentioned that some of the times were not synchronized yet. So I am assuming that for cases like this, he programmed it so that this would not happen.
the extra 48 hours is added to the time initially before the weeken is even reached.
for example, if you are playing a 3 day game and you just made a move and it is Friday and your opponents weekend is Saturday and Sunday, the time left will "immediately" show 5 days and not 3
Okay, once again. The "time left" values generated before reenabling the game time were not accurate, just estimated. They didn't count vacations, weekend days etc. That's why several games seemed to be timeouted but when a timeout occurs and the corresponding player has a day off (weekend, vacation, site holiday), the game is protected and the script adds 24 hours to its time left.
It's nothing but logical. The purpose of days off is to avoid timeouts. That's why no timeouts can happen during such days.
id like to make a point about game times . im playing in some one day limits on fri it should have added my weekend days but it didnt i had to move it after midnight friday (my time) to get the extra two weekend days added .
