Subject: Re: Back-Ground Toooo Bright
Do you mean the "global" brightness of the white background on all site pages?
I will add a new option to set a bg color by a user.

Subject: Back-Ground Toooo Bright
Does anyone have sensitivity to the brightness that the back-ground here gives out..? I have 2 players that love this site, but won't play anymore because they say it's too "bright" and hurts their eyes far too much to continue.. Is there a choice of back-ground shade or color on here we can choose from..?

Subject: Emails Galore
I have set my setting so that I will be emailed when it is my turn, but is there a way where you could get one email instead of 30 because I don't check my email before I login on brain king and by the time I do check my email I have a mess of them.

tonyh: No, there is not an automatic draw. But maybe I should add it. I'll add some notes about it to Tablut rules ASAP.
About BKR, it is re-calculated everytime when a game/match is finished. But sometimes it is not changed [see FAQ].

lwmc: Don't worry about that. It is legal to share a computer when playing on BrainKing.com. Everything you have to do is to click on "Logout" link before another player can log in. That's all :-)

Subject: Tablut and Draws
In tablut, is there an automatic draw if we repeat moves several times?
Next, if I play a 2 game match and we draw, will ratings change. I ask, because mine never has and I must have had around 10 draws.

I am not a member yet. But Eddie told me about this site and I like it alot. It beat itsyourturn in my opinion, and it has some things goldtoken doesn't have and vise versa.
Anyway.
I will be staying with a friend that has a computer and I told her about brainking. And what I want to know is:
If I play on her computer using my username and password will it mess her up. Because I did with itsyourturn, and her son did also. So there were three people and they evedently thought she had several accounts so she could play more games. And it mess her up and she could not move.
If this will mess her up I guess I will have to play it on my laptop. Please reply.

Subject: Note-Box
Fencer, not sure if anyone else is having this as a problem, but is it possible that you could make a simple change with the "note-box" like putting it as a "clickable link" to bring UP the box instead of just having it there..? or maybe just make it a different shade of color might work.. Sorry, the reason I'm requesting this is because there are several times (feeling like a fool here) I have found that I have wrote my message to my opponent in my note-box instead of where it should have been.. then turn around and have to re-write it over again..
also, could you add an "edit" and a "delete" button to it as well..?

A checkers game i lost came with the message:

You captured all opponent's pieces. (Checkers)

When in fact i did not capture all my opponent's pieces! lol.

if you go to your settings page on the left...and click on the Calendar on the top you can check the boxes beside the days to make the vacation. It also lists there the site holidays and your days off.

Subject: Re: Chess Rules (50 move rule)
Of course I know that. It is applicable e.g. for a situation with king, rook and bishop against king and rook. The other possibilities are:
1) King and two knights against king and pawn.
2) King, rook and pawn against king, bishop and pawn.
But there are more restrictions for the last two situations, especially about pawn positions.

Subject: Chess Rules (50 move rule)
Are you aware there are certain circumstances in which 75 moves are allowed, rather than 50?
Sometimes it takes 72 moves to checkmate with optimal play without a pawn move or capture!!!!
