If you go to your settings page, down at the bottom there is a box to check to say if you want email notification or not. That should stop the emails :)
For everybody who requested this feature: Now it is possible to turn the game message archive [displayed under game boards] off. It could be useful for users who suffer of too long game pages when the conversation "very live" ;-)
What is BKR and how is it calculated?
BKR means "BrainKing Rating" and is calculated by US Chess Federation formula for each kind of a game separately according to your game results. The player who finishes at least 4 rated games of one kind (everybody who defines a new game can specify whether the game will be "rated" - the result will be calculated for BKR - or not), earns "provisional BKR" displayed by italic font (e.g. 1870). After finishing 25 rated games of one kind the provisional BKR changes to "established BKR" and is displayed by normal font (e.g. 1853). If you complete more games, your BKR is more accurate because is based on more results.
PattyMelt: All registered players are in the Player List. The problem is that the list is sorted by their first login time, not alphabetically, so maybe you've just overlooked your name. I'll add more sorting and searching options later.
ellieoop: I'll look at your game. About pink pieces, I'll try to add more color schemes ASAP. Thanks for pointing it out. Just updated my TODO list :-)
the program does not know about ambiguous moves
if 2 pieces can move to the same square, the move must be noted with coloumn or line number. for example (english short notation), if white has rooks on f1 and d1, a rook move to e1 must be noted Rfe1 or Rde1, not Re1.
I checked to see if this was a "regional" NTL problem but unfortunately it does appear to be a incompatability issue with regards to our new software. (Liberate 1.2) - It would be good to know if any non updated users are experiencing these "glitches". ??? - Sorry i cannot be of more help. :( ---- (Edit)- If u r using settings set to row then try column. (It has worked 4 me)
i'm a move short in spider with my game with alexlee, i don't see a game#. and also, is there a way to darken the pink, there's hardly any contrast. i'm on web and this is my first problem.
thx. ellie
That was some trip I had to take to change my password. Good thing I saved my activation code or would never got back in. When I changed my password - I got a flashing screen that wouldn't do anything. My IE bar kept flashing, log-in, do-login. yet there wasn't anyway to log-in.

I am a NTL user with the browser update. I have seen a few problems like graphics not loading fully. Too resolve this i had to fully exit the site & return via ntldtv.! Is this a similer problem to yours.?
Niki: You probably won with very low rated opponent or the game was defined as "unrated". The next server update [tommorow] will contain FAQ entry for this subject :-)
