Is there a way to keep track of my tournaments from the home page? When all my games are finished, but the tournament is still running, I have no way to access this tournament information easily. Any suggestions?

Does more than one player from each group advance in a tournament which has 13 players in 3 groups?

It depends on final score of section players. If more than one player has the same points and S-B, all these players continue to the second round.

This is shaping up to be a doozy folks. We have 13 entrants so far and the list is mounting. I urge you to jump aboard if you haven't already. This will be true championship checkers as its best. And a lot of fun to boot. TNP

I want to thank all the paying members of BK who joined the Tournament Talk fellowship and made it a fun place to be for a short while. The concensus seems to be that the fellowship is obsolete at this point, as we have a fine public Tournaments DB right here to post on, with the best moderator anyone can ask for. Also this is a place where pawns can participate, which adds to its value. I agree with this assessment and am therefore closing the TT fellowship with this post as an explanation to the members who may not have read the most recent postings in the club. Thanks one and all for your participation & support in making the club a success...and remember, we're on the best gamesite on the net so let's have some fun. :o)

How about we keep all our negative thoughts about a certain someone to ourselves?Not trying to dictate or anything but its been nice an peaceful here the past week or two and I know most of us wanna keep it that way, not saying we dont all have negative thoughts about a certain someone but let us all rise to the adults we are and keep the negativity to ourselves.

WOW..22 have entered,and 19 more days till the tourny starts! Sign up deadline is Christmas eve!!

Nine people have entered none of who are pawns so if there is just one pawn in there when the tournament begins he/she wins.

I am playing in a tourney (Satan's Hellish pente #2) right now and I am a pawn. I have two games left and they are almost complete. I will not win my section in round 1 because I already have two losses and another player has none with only one unfinished game. Will I have to wait for my section to be completed or the whole first round or the whole tournament to be completed before I can enter another tourney?

You will have to wait till the whole tourny is over. OR once your games are finished and you definately cant go through, message Fencer and he can remove you from the tourny without affecting your bkr etc. Then you will be able to enter another :o)

#1) For my "Fast Start Chess Tournaments", since I have found that people are creating multiply accounts, I have removed the option of letting unrated players play in the Chess tournament.

#2) I'm looking for 1-2 more players for the Fast Start Parachute Checkers #1 Tournament. Actually it will probable be the only once since it did not get very many sign ups, but would be nice to start at least this one if I can get at least 1 or 2 more players to join!

I got a message that all sections were complete and I'm not sure if the next round starts automatically or if I have to do something.

When you click the link with in the message that tells you all sections are completed, see if there is a second round to start. there will be a button to click if there is.. if there isnt then the tourney is over. Depends on how many entered the tourney,,, Want me to take a look at it for you to verify?

It looks like 4 sections are complete, each with a winner. I would think they now have to play each other. I don't see any button to activate it.

the second round is finished in tournament 1514. Rabbitoid is the winner.

You're right. Message fencer on that one, seems a glitch to not have the button to activate the next round.

Perhaps it would be clearer if the rounds were at least divided somehow (like with a Horizontal Rule), or possibly even put on seperate pages?
