how can you get stallers on a one day time limit tournament ?

the thing i didnt agree with is that AFTER i had signed up the rules got changed , which shouldnt be alowed to happen , i dont play in 30 day tornaments as a rule and would have given it a miss .

yes you can resign them , before making two moves and it wont affect your bkr

why cant you , there will be a delete button before two moves are made i do believe , if they deleted all games in thier section it would not harn anyone still playing .

now the problem is that there may be some people who went into this tournament because of the (SUPPOZED) two year rook membership offerd . now the re are people stuck in there without anything offerd in a tournament that will last forever . .......
if there are some of you stuck in the tournament (pawns or nights ) and would like to go into lindas tournament message me and im willing to pay a few of you in .. just delete your games in that tournament before you do any moves and your ratings wont be affected ....
BY THE WAY THIS IS A GENUINE OFFER TO ANY ONE THAT HAS BEEN AFFECTED by the running of this so called tournament . (obvoisly i will have to limit the amount of people i can pay for)

long john ... as i belive its not a nice thing to do , to use your position as tournament creator to remove people you dont seem to like for one reason or another ....i have removed myself from your tournament . another reason for this is the fact that you have edited the description WHICH I THINK SHOULD NOT HAPPEN ..

i think you have the two tournaments mixed up universal , the two year rook membership one is free to enter (i do believe )

another query linda . some sections could have tied winners (possibly a few sections will get this happening) what will happen then ...who gets to promote a pawn one of them or both of them or half each lol.

well if thats the case you are entertaining them well

ps , i also like to play games quickly ....but sometimes i like to play slowly ..checkers&reversi i can leave on my main page for days because sometimes i just cant get my head round them , so i leave them there and do other games .

i think you will find that any tournament you enter in the future will be slow , because you have spoken about the time limits people will do this now to wind you up ,
some of what you say i agree with but if i sign up for a 4 day limit tourney then if i dont feel like moving untill the last day then that is up to me .... talking about it will not make /force people into moving faster ,it most likely will have the opposite effect .

you might get games that when a player is loosing that he waits untill the last possible minute to move his piece , unless the other player was online at the exact time he would loose the game

all this talk about not moving fast enough hmmm i have nothing against pawns at all i play a few of them my self , but quit complaining and upgrade your membership then you have all the games you want plus all the extra benifits (which as a pawn you wont have even seen) or you could play other sites (but you will more likely get even more rectrictions imposed on you )
ps i have around 300 games going and when the sites reasonable i do them at least one move each daily , i also have at least 13 games in the top 20 rankings , each to his own

peacepickle , i suggest only playing shorter limit tourneys in the future 1 or two days limit, or upgrade your account and play more games to keep you occupied , also for the small amount of going to a knight you can play one of every game there is in a tournament , not just one like you seem to think .

just an idea , they would stand out from the crowd so to speak more easily , also prize tournaments seem to have extra restrictions

maybe prize tournaments should have thier own page ... away from standard tournaments ,what do you think fencer ?

i have a question while on this subject , we have two paying members here me & judd on separte pcs, so with some of the comment maybe people think we cheat ??
i assure you i kick his backside as much as possible lol its the only way he can improve in his games , when he starts to win me i have achieved my goal ..... not because i let him win

sorry but i have had to remove myself from about half a dozen Tournaments , due to me overstreching myself with the amount of games i already have , i am having problems trying to finish the games i have already (partly due to site problems) just thought i would leave a message here nothing personal . i will re sign back up if the situation changes
