Groeneveld: i sign all tourney i believe is that if they do so is because there are tourney that never end because of slow players so they make fast tourney :)
francescolr: You better believe that because of slow players and Auto vacation. There is Tournaments here that will go on forever. Its to bad there are people out to ruin it for others.
Groeneveld: I believe he is saying there are small fast tournaments, with few people, because some of the larger ones last too long because of people moving too slow in them.
In order to keep the competition within the targeted rating range, three special rules will be enforced:
- No unrated players!
- Players whose BKR goes over 1799 until the start of the tournament will be removed!
- Players whose highest published BKR has been 1900 or above will be removed!
Thad: i had this problem wich probably will never be solved but you tell Fencer to look at the game ( my concern is only checkers and if i have a minimum doubt of cheating i will go compare the moves of my opponents with the softwares around and then report the player) :)
CRY ME A RIVER: apparently it is a small problem and Fencer is looking into it....I notice that some ponds games are 5-6 DAYS over so he obviously isnt in a hurry to fix it or it is a bigger problem than he originally thought....I wouldnt bother him with it, just let him fix it at his own pace :)

Fencer: so even the tournament owner does not get the profits? Or is this more like an admin fee because I assume there is a lot of manual work on your part to dish out the winnings
SafariGal: I think if the tourney organizer got the remaining brains you would see such an influx of brain prize tournies that there would be too many and not many folks would join up to them. As it is now there are many tournies 20 or 30 days over do from starting because not enough folks have signed up, some brain prize tournies as well.
