To be fair to everyone, either (1) prize that was offered needs to be awarded or (2) delete tournament, and create a new one with the new prize. You can't start a tournament and say you will give the winner $1,000 - then later say "Oh, changed my mind - here is a $1.00 instead) (of course this is an "extreme" example, but hopefully shows the point of why it should not be changed) 19. IMO I've run 4 prize tourneys and people have the right to expect the tourney $$ to be there sooner rather than later. 19. His reply to me sounded like that was how he wanted it. I seem to recall that someone (who is no longer on this site) had created a tourney that was to have a prize, and just before it started he removed the prize and changed the time limit to over a month. That is one reason why there are some restrictions on editing. 19. July 2007, 20:35:15 Tigger very good idea to bring up to Fencer. No prize tourney should show up in the listing UNTIL payment is made. That is a really good idea. Eriisa I recall that incident from way back when also.
