when some one bought a computer program, what is he going to do? he want to test how strong the program will be, usually to challenge the stronger player.
Hrqls: playing against a computer, one error will cost you the whole game. it is not the same when you play vs human, especially against a weaker opponent who may make mistake or miss the good move later on you can come back to the game even when you play against an equal opponent, one error will put you in a very bad position you have to play very hard hoping to survive if you made a carelee quick move....
my user ID is computeropponent. i have said that no cheater @ this site only suspect. This time i found myself is playing against a true computer cheater(suspect). the computer move looks not thing special but it is deep. i underestimated my opponent rated just 18xx. he move very slowly i just made a careless quick move. re: my game vs xxxxxxxxxx chinese chess.
Hrqls: i did not know you are the Moderator of other discuss board until i post on the brainking discuss. it is good for me to discuss with the guy watch the board. i don't like your yellow picture, but i like to discuss my thought abt this site openly with a moderator.
Subject: Re: re: why Hou Yifan is women world champion
MadMonkey: my topic to discuss is: you should play a stronger player to improve yourself. don't pick the weak one just for winning and get BKR point. ok. thanks for your advise. this is my last post. no more....
Subject: re: why Hou Yifan is women world champion
Fide Women's World champion, 19-year-old GM Hou Yifan of china won the champion covincingly. her rating 2609 higher than her opponent's 2500. the most important is she has played in tournament of men's group, her middle and end game skill is stronger.
Retep: i don't know some one cheating on chess, in my opinion @ this site there are only suspects, no one is proved a cheater. for an ordinary chess player, there are something you can learn by playing here, if you don't care abt win or lose. for a serious player you will pick up the bad habit, the time trouble. because it is not the right way to play in the real game
Retep: at the high level of chess tournament so many games are decided by who can play under time pressure. you have to move fast, think fast, find the correct move in a short time. sorry i just talk about chess, or chinese chess. i don't know anything beside these two. so i don't have hundreds or thousands games to play
the game i play black, i made a mistake for moving quickly. i beat him at last because he played the way i wanted to move fast. he finally blunder under time pressure. people move very very slowly to make me sick. i lost interest and the game. i'm sick of people seeing my move and logout, again and again and again....
computeropponen: now i'm playing with this guy Volkov BKR 1866, I found out that he is a weak player,he does not know how to play the chinese chess. in a real chinese chess world, a 18xx is a expert...
computeropponen: it looks like some one just beating boys and claimed to be a man! a bigger fish in a small pond it is not a lion among a group of tigers!
computeropponen: another example GameType:Chinese Chess Volkov: BKR=1866, Rank=10, Defeated players: Monastario 1521, Boo Qadm 1334, RayL 1396, RayL 1396. No of games played 4(4/0/0) he is undeated too! wow.........
Justaminute: lets see this player's rating: Game type:Chinese Chess Name: sembazuru BKR: 1855 Rank:11 Games counted: 6(8/0/0) Date game finished: from 6/Jan/2013 to 27/Sept/2013 No of moves: from 1 to 20 Players he defeated: Xabyer 1283, miyckarin unrated, Ronnie0000 1166, hovdini123 1431, mickaelpush 1337, shocksteel 1335, nibler29 1147, Boo Qadom 1334. The highest rated player he defeated is 1431, how could he be rated 1855? Now you will get the idea the BKR is inflated.
computeropponen: moves match the chess engine's choice is not cheating if not thing is found after complete search. all the 2700 player moves match computer's choice in the opening, are they quilty of cheating? some even can remember the moves up to the mid-game stage. i think Borislav Ivanov has upper memory....
Hrqls: Borislav Ivanov is not banned, he just refused to take off his shoes and socks and forfeited his game. He will be back playing chess again. he should demand all his opponents, especially those GMs rated above him take off shoes and socks and underwear even after search completed..... If he can beat the computer by 10-0, he himself also a machine, only computer can beat computer, no wonder his move match the top choice of the chess engines..
did i say some one is a cheater here? no. i just pointed out that someone with so high BKR in chess with 2717. i just can't believe it. he is just a suspect in my opinion.... Borislav Ivanov, the Bulgarian 2300 chess master who is banned for refusing to take off his shoes and socks demanded by the arbiter of the tournament , now he quit chess. He was searched many x and no electronic equipment was found, so he is just a suspect, i don't think he is a cheater.... i have read the articles @ chessbase.com: "He never calculated moves" and" Borislav Ivanov speaks out" he was accused of cheating by many masters some are the loser against him, no one who beat him has raised any question abt his game that he is cheating. Rombaldoni Axel who analysised the game he lost to him. even said " absolutely, he is cheating" in an interview. in an interview Borislav speak out that he practice a lot with the computer, and after beating Rybka & Houdini by 10-0 each, he was absolutelly sure that no-one was gonna stop him winning...why not get him to prove it? i won't take off my shoes and socks because i have toenail fungus ..ha
to day even a world champion use computer program to analysis the game, espcially for the opening. he just replay all the moves he memorized from the computer, and this is not cheating.
Aganju: 1) the perfect chess player does not exist, no one could manage not lost a game. so no one is perfect. that is true! 2) my nick is computeropponent, actually i don't use computer program, i hate it. what i mean is that my opponent my be using computer. 3) the BKR is inflated figure. i am an unrated chess player, i have beat my opponent Lightbug with 1868 BKR very easy. i was rated abt 1580 long x ago (more than 20 yrs) so i come up with this number. FIDE rating = BKR - (500 to 700) i can tell you that a true 2000+ is a master rating.
the greatest chess player who can beat everyone and won most of game and lost some. he could be a world champion . but the perfect chess player who drew most of game and won some games against the world champions and never lost a game. because he is undefeated.
Aganju: in a draw game, one player may have upper hand position but forced to accept a draw. for example: perpetual check in chess.(it is not allowed in chinese chess) it depends how a draw is defined. if a weak player drew with a strong player, it considered is a win or little win, then the one with upper hand position should be declared a winner. in my opinion a draw is a draw. a win could be awarded 1,or 2 even 3 points, a draw 0.5 or 1 pt .....
