Marfitalu: Paying members can use them in their messages for pawns. Pawns just won't see the smiles, that's all. But pawns have ways to know what smile you're using. It's just that some members are new and just don't know where to get that type of information (especially since the help system is still in the making ) and some missunderstandings may arise.

The way I see it, everybody should be able to see whatever formating you put in the messages. After all, sometimes the format is part of the message.
Pawns just wouldn't have access to the special editors that make writing those messages so mush easier, weather it's the smile popup or the RTE editor or whatever else that comes along in the future.

But that's just my opinion and I've already expressed it many times in the past before.

Summertop: I would also like the smiley's to be similar to how the HTML font size stuff works.

That is pawns can see the smiley's and such, but if they type the *###*, it will not work.

That way paying members don't have to be carefull on what to send to each person depending if they are a pawn or not.

Summertop: I second the idea. In many of my games after a number of moves, my oppoents ask : "What are these numbers?"

And I have to give them a link!

Fencer: Looks good. Apparently they are only for paying members. Could the "display" of them be made available for non-paying members? I have games with pawns that just see "weird" numbers.

Instead of having to wait for the entire board to load again to press the "Move" button, why not have a immediate move option in settings where the piece is both moved and registered, avoiding having to press "Move"?

wouldnt it be great we had a set of default messages we could pop into the message box at the start and end of the game. i know i sound lazy but typing hi gl, gl2u2 etc is easy enough but when you have two or three tourns starting at the same time it can get a bit repetative maybe repeating it thirty times in a row, i do it obviously (mostly) because i want to and its polite too, but is there an easier way?

well thats my 2c worth

I have thought that it be fine put on this site games

I have thought that it would be fine put on this
site games like mill (nine men's morris) and Bashnya (a stack game that is played with the pieces of checkers). Moreover, there would be others intersting variants of checkers, like frisian, international, brazilian, italian, spanish, russian,canadian...Bopop

Wouldn´t it be a good idea to have another ranking list? One that states 0-100. At 100 you are the best and at 86, 86% of the rated players has a lower rating. I would like to see something like this cause I´m ranked a whoppy Forty-Seven at Legan Chess, but that's last place!

Skyking: Another tip: go to their profile. Click on "Finished Games". Click on "Show games with me only". Sometimes that can remind you of who a person is.
Also, if you are someone who doesn't delete their PM's often, search for the name in your Inbox, and see if they have sent you messages in the past, and that can help remind ya too!

Skyking: It would be great if there were a "name history" in people's profiles.
There IS something you can do if they are on your "Friends" list, however. Use the "add a description" feature. If you put whatever name you know them best as, it will always be there with their name on your Friends list. Not the best solution, but it's something! :-)

1. It takes up browser viewable space

2. I always thought that there may be some kind of spyware or adaware involved in it

3. I thought it decreased the performance of my PC
