Move limits don't just hurt pawns. They hurt members too. Now players can't play games in one sitting or even a chunk of moves in a sitting. Limiting moves for pawns won't solve the problem. I say reduce pawn's games to 10 or 15.
Ok, I was wondering about the rated games under 4 moves total that don't count towards ratings. I have two of these Game ID: 1800, 1802 In one I timed out before moving, in the other it was a 2 game match, he moved I timed out, then I timed out the other so that's only 3 moves. So both shouldn't have counted for ratings. However, one (1800) did because I recieved a 4iar rating after 4 games but it should've been 5 if the game was properly not counted. Yet in Linetris (1802) I completed 4 games and was still unrated, meaning the system worked there and did not count 1802 for ratings.
Here are the game numbers to back it up. In Line4 after 4 games I got a rating Game in Question: 1800 if the system was working properly it should've taken 5. Yet in Linetris I've completed 4 games and am still unrated, Game ID: 1802 so this one worked properly.
The following way to have a game not count towards ratings does not work properly, Both players did not perform at least two moves. It can happen when one player loses the game by a timeout at the very beginning. The games are still be counted for ratings.
