I have a few theories why they never quiet made it after an exceptional 1st album.I think it was a combination of being swept away by U2(a similar sound)and maybe they played up their Christianity too much, regardless, they recorded some damn fine music, this song especially

TexasToest: I love the double bass drum action in the song. It's funny when he expects the audience to sing the verse and there is silence, but Tokyo audiences were demanded to stay in their seats and quietly listen back then, not sure if they've relaxed the rules in recent years.........OOPS,almost forgot.I'm a big fan of Jery Lee Lewis's country phase back in the late 60's early 70's,sadly it isn't remebered by many. Here is Jerry doing a fine gospal tune,no,that's not Link of The Mod Squad singing backup

TexasToest: Watching these guys on The Midnight Special at 13,sitting in a motel room in ST PETE'S Florida was my Beatles on Sullivan moment.I was mesmerised. The next day I ran to the record store, and begged the motel belly dancer to take me to her house so I could listen to it.I wrote them letters asking them to please play my home town. They also motivated me to pursue the drums. When this album came out,it created a vision in my mind of the ultimate rock concert experience,it was all I had dreamed they would sound live. This is still considered one of the best live rock albums ever released
