The Legends Of Classic Rock Podcast from Q107 (Toronto)
The Legends of Classic Rock is one of Canada?s two leading nationally syndicated music focused programs. Hosted by long time Classic Rock programmer and host Jeff Woods, Legends gives listeners the stories behind the music that defined a generation.
Combining a mix of interviews and information along with album tracks, rarities and live recordings, Legends provides the colour and content that will deepen your appreciation for some of the greatest artists, and best songs, of the past 40 years.
The show comes in two forms: The weekly hour-long program and the daily minute long snapshot feature each syndicated through Deep Sky, a Division of Corus Entertainment.
The Legends of Classic Rock can be experienced on the following finer Rock Stations throughout Canada: Q107 Toronto, Y108 Hamilton, The Hawk London, Q107 Calgary, Rock 101 Vancouver well as the world-wide on-line through the custom Legends of Classic Rock micro site accessible from each of the aforementioned radio station websites.
While Legends airtimes may vary across the country on the radio, the series of Legends short-form dailies allow you to listen anytime you want through Pod Casting.

baddessi: Yes. As a deaf person she is one of the very few I can understand as her voice is so clear. I have been a fan of her,s for over 30 years and seen her her live in concert 4 times and I have met her. Alas she is now in her 70,s and on her world farewell tour. Her daughter,s voice is even better than her,s. Her name is Lena Mouskouri.
awesome: awesome! Love Canned Heat...I love 'Goin Up the Country'..or whatever the name of that one is..ya know goin where the water tastes like wine... too...good stuff, eh? : )
Joni Mitchell, even on her folk albums, was always a cut above. The way she put words and notes together was astounding. I truly, truly still love her.
TexasToest: doncha love it when ladies venture into jazz? I loved when Joni Mitchell did her jazzy albums Heirja? and another one, escapes me now...but quite a departure from her other folksy stuff or so I thought
Of course, Carlos Santana is one of my all-time favorites. And, BOY, have I ever loved Alex Ligertwood forever! "...musta been lust." Fiona Apple I've just come around to. Maybe I settled down a little, but I really enjoy her too.
TexasToest: I knew about the Swiss Army but i didnt know about their drum squad. I found this video when i checked the profile of a guy who had made a comment on one of my videos :)
Today in 1969: The Beatles performed as a group for the last time in public in a 45-minute gig on the roof of their Apple Records headquarters in London during the filming of ''Let it Be" .
