my thanks to Kickbut's father for sharing this with me. It's completely free and I think a nice idea.

he never really got over his Mother's death just before Christmas, and was on drugs for depression. He suffered a violent reaction to some prescribed pain tablets and he was asthmatic, the combination of which caused his death. Very sad.

my closest friend has died. He was always there for me, no matter what. A good and true friend. At 34 a tragic waste of a young life. I will miss him.

My thoughts are with his family.

My best and closest friend for a few years now.

His Mother has passed away. The poor man is naturally very upset. He was very close to her. My prayers are with him just now.

This has not been broken since 9/11/01, please keep it going...
This has been kept alive and moving since 9/11. In memory of all those
who perished this morning; the passengers and the pilots on the United Air and
AA flights, the workers in the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and all the
innocent bystanders. Our prayers go out to the friends and families of the
deceased.

IF I KNEW

If I knew it would be the last time
That I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly
and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss
and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word,
so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time,
I could spare an extra minute
to stop and say "I love you,"
instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time
I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more,
so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow
to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance
to make everything just right.

There will always be another day
to say "I love you,"
And certainly there's another chance
to say our "Anything I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong,
and today is all! I get,
I'd lik! e to say how much I love you
and I hope we ne ver forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance
you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow,
why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes,
you'll surely regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time
for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today,
and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them
and that you'll always hold them dear

Take time to say "I'm sorry,"
"Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes,
you'll have no regrets about today.

PLEASE DON'T BREAK IT!!!!!!

My thoughts are very much with his wife and family at this sad time.
Ronaldo is in intensive care and unlikely to make a full recovery, he will remain in hosptial or hospice care for the remainder of his life:
I got a pm from Fencer at the request of his wife Magaretta and a separate email from the same lady who didn't connect my email addy with 'Nirvana' on here.
I know as a person he could be difficult sometimes, but a lot of his unexpected behaviour was down to the horrendous pain he suffered plus the drugs he was on to try and help him. He has been bedridden for some time. From his chats with me he is a frightened man, in considerable pain. I got to know him quite well, both as a friend and while comparing notes etc on his beloved History ~ something which fascinates us both. He could be unpredictable some times, but meant well. He is a caring person and I did all I could to try and support him, and by helping with his research etc I was able to take his mind off his problems a bit, the only constructive way I could help. The nature of his illnesses take courage. To be in such pain for so long can't be easy. I for one will miss him.
He made History in so many ways in his Fellowship, bringing to life a subject which covers everything in our daily lives, no matter what it is, from the country we live in to the objects around us all, everything has a history of sorts, some more involved than others.
My thought and sympathy as this time are of course with his family and him.

Linda J: Think positively! We are all behind you.
I find the support of others really helps. Kent's funeral was this morning. I couldn't go (wrong country) but lit a candle, which helped. Not being able to attend the funeral is hard - but the support I have found has really helped.
Thanks to you all.

Thank you ~ I admit I'm finding his death hard to deal with. It helps to have a little support.

Thank you to you both. My family were always proud of Kent, who went to serve his country, following in the foosteps of our Father, who did his patriotic duty during WW2.

Some of you will have come across Hoo on IYT, my brother Craig. (I share this account with him).

Our brother Kent served his country in Vietnam, was captured with a few comrades, but not found for some time. When he was, he was badly wounded, having lost a leg. Medical treatment being denied, he relied heavily on narcotics for pain relief, needing help to recover from addiction when eventually sent home. He never really recovered from his experiences.
The Iraq war brought back many memories for him, many of which were so painful he lapsed back to his addiction. Sadly he took an overdose recently, despite much treament he did not recover and finally passed away a couple of days ago. I only hope he is at Peace at long last.

Rest in Peace, Kent. You will always be in our hearts and prayers.

Some of the players here also play on Pocket-Monkey and may have played BlouBul (Lisa) who recently lost her fight against cancer. A brave Lady with a good sense of humour and fun. A tragic waste at 38, she leaves a husband (Flip) and children (Joanne and Henk 13 and 9).
I wasn't aware of Panda and Cariad's problems and would like to add my prayers for them too. I wish them a speedy recovery.
