Thank you. Can I play mp3 file with a command in Delphi? Is there some intern player or it finds "Windows Media player" or something else ?

Flake: The TMediaPlayer in Delphi (7) doesn't support MP3 files. The ShellExecute will let you open/run any file as long as it has a recognized extension. for Example:

ShellExecute( Application.MainForm.Handle, nil,pchar(FileName), pchar(Params), PChar(DefaultDir), 0);

So, if you passed in the name of the MP3 file into the varialble "FileName", this would execute the default action associated with MP3 files. i.e It would load you media player and play it.

I noticed just a bit ago that my tower was very close to the wall.. this was after one of the notices mentioned overheating could be the cause..

anyway.. I pulled it away from the wall and it seems to be back to normal again.. *keeps fingers crossed*

There are people who prefer the decimal system, due the number of their fingers, and people who prefer other systems, due to their fondness for non-deciman numbers. The union of the sets these two kinds of people create is the people of Earth :)

Does anyone know how to speed up burning times? I'm using Nero 6 and for an average 90 minute / 700mb film on an 8x disc it can take 8 - 14 hours to burn.

Backoff
ummm somethings wrong lol. You should be buying fastern burn rate disc to begain with (52x). How fast is your burner? It should only take 2-4 mins to burn a cd. As for DVD, it takes me about 10 mins to burn a full 4Gb DVD.

I have no idea what speed the writer is, but its a new one. 52x I think. Its the discs that are 8x, I get them because they're cheaper. But even with an 8x disc it should go faster shouldn't it?
A music CD takes around 10/20 minutes.
