Radiant Aunt:That's ok girl, anytime you are going to be home and want to put your name on a list, feel free. I think it is going to be great fun!!
I have already read Swan and mailed it to Eriisa. I did enjoy it. Now I am reading The Good Wife Strikes Back by Elizabeth Buchan. Then I have Blow Fly by Patricia Cornwell! Guess I am going to be reading a lot!!
Dolittle: I was just on a site of Frances Mayer, reading abit from Swan and the sound of it is interesting, however i shouldn't join right now.. in a month I go on a Missionary Trip and im preparing for that right now.. I might want to join during the summer, when the ammount of activities have lowered drastically and the evenings are made to read outside on the beach or so.. :-) Ennjoy the book, all of you who are on the list!
Radiant Aunt:Yes, we are mailing real books..will write our ID# in it as we read one and pass it on to the next person on the list. I think there are 3 in line for that book now but we can always start another one going around. It isn't just a US bookclub, I want it to be for everyone to enjoy!
We have started a book exchange and right now we are discussing Swan by Frances Mayes which I have mailed to Eriisa and then it will go to the next in line...you will find a link to the list above.
We will discuss any books though. What are your preferences?
Eriisa: Sounds great and here I was thinking I would have to write it all down..you is so smart...cough, cough!
BTW, the book is on it's way to you but I forgot to write my name in the front so could you do that for me! I thank you ma'am!!
Eriisa (finished and passed it on) Baddessi (finished and passed it on) amandalove (finished and passed it on) ajtgirl (finished, and passed it on) *ScarletRose
* - person who currently has the book
If you would like to be added to the list, please post a message onto the board, and we will add your name!
ajtgirl: I like a mixture of books from mystery to comedy. A good love story would be in order also. Actually I think most of us enjoy most any really good book!
baddessi: What fun that will be..you don't have to send Swan back to me tho dessi, find somebody else that wants to read. We will each put our name in a book and pass it on. Cool idea!!!
oh cool, and then when I'm done I'll send it back to Dolittle with the Janet Evanowich book I wanted her to read! LOL
How cool- it's a ...."Book-a-round"!!! : )
Eriisa: Story of a Georgia family and their trials and tribulations. Frances Mayes also wrote Under the Tuscan Sun, Bella Tuscany, and In Tuscany. I plan to buy some of those!
