The right column shows examples of starting position for each game. The real starting position can look a little different for some game types because it depends either on a random factor (Corner Chess, ...) or on player's own choice (Battleships, ...).
Battleboats The well-known fire-and-sink game. Both players start with five ships and have one shot per move. Who sinks all opponent's ships, wins the game. (read all rules)
Battleboats Plus This is a variant of Battleboats which makes the game much faster. A player has as many shots per move as the number of his/her live ships is. (read all rules)
Dark Battleboats Dark Battleboats is another variant of Battleboats. A player has three shots per move but is not informed about the number of opponent's destroyed ships. (read all rules)
(hide) If you want to play a game with an opponent of a similar level, you can define a required BKR range for a new game invitation. Then nobody with a BKR outside this range will be able to see/accept it. (Katechka) (show all tips)
