The only purpose of this fellowship is to create a non-conventional Brainking Backgammon tournament. If you are bored from the usual types of Brainking Backgammon tournaments and you can't wait for Fencer to implement the new system, join to have some more fun.
So what you have to do:
You just join the fellowship if you already haven't, say you want to participate in the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and i make all the other.
After i draw the pairings you just invite your opponent(if he didn't already do that so you don't have to do anything) to a 7-point Backgammon match with doubling cube, post the ID of the 7-point game you play and that's all.....
7-point matches must have a time control of 3 days per move or less but more than 1 day per move or exactly 1 day per move. Also the "No days off" option should be set to off(not selected)....
After the draw has been made and the pairs are known, the players should post to the fellowship board the ID number of their game.
Players that want to participate in the tournament should post to the board this....
Here are the details:
There would be 32 players in the final phase of the tournament.
-If exactly 32 will join the tournament then the final phase will begin immediately.
-If more than 32 will join, then there will be a qualifying round from which 32 players will advance to the final phase of 32.
-If less than 32 but more than 16 will join, then there would be a qualifying round from which 16 players will advance to the "Round of 16".
-If exactly 16 players would join then the "Round of 16" will begin immediately.
-If less than 16 players would join then the tournament would not start until 16 or more players will join.
The final phase of 32 will have:
Round of 32: There would be 16 pairs of players that would fight against each other in a 7-point Backgammon match. The player who would win the match will advance to the next round. So 16 players of these 16 pairs would advance to the Round of 16.
Round of 16: There would be 8 pairs of players that would fight against each other in a 7-point Backgammon match. The player who would win the match will advance to the next round. So 8 players of these 8 pairs would advance to the Quarter Finals.
Quarter Finals: There would be 4 pairs of players that would fight against each other in a 11-point Backgammon match. The player who would win the match will advance to the next round. So 4 players of these 4 pairs would advance to the Semi Finals.
Semi Finals: There would be 2 pairs of players that would fight against each other in 15-point Backgammon matches. The player who would win the match will advance to the next round. So 2 players of these 2 pairs would advance to the Final.
Final: There would be two players that would fight against each other in a 21-point Backgammon match. The player who would win the match will win the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CUP!
All games will be matches with doubling cube!
For competition format and match schedule see:FORMAT
After we have the first winner of a CHAMPIONS LEAGUE there would be another one and then another one, etc. The winner of a previous CHAMPIONS LEAGUE will participate at the next one without any qualification needed and it will be set to the Round of 32 in a G1(see the FORMAT) place.
