José Raoúl Capablanca Memorial This is a tournament in honour of one of the greatest chessplayers of all time, José Raoúl Capablanca y Graupera (19.11.1888 - 8.3.1942). He became the world master in 1921 by winning against dr. Emmanuel Lasker and he lost the title of the world master in 1927, when he lost the match against Alexander Alekhine.
